    Still, it's hard to beat a DD-5 or DD-6.

Oh, are you saying you like laid-back hippie monkey analog delay?

I do prefer digital delay... analog-tape delay has better tone, but the reliability of digital sways my vote. If I had a tech who could maintain, clean, and bias a tape delay, maybe I'd go the other way...

I just like that U2/The Edge delay... my Ibanez unit works well enough for me.

EH memory man (x2) to get that sound. of course, they're huge, beastly tone suckers. well, apparently, they're true bypass now but mine was a huge tone sucker.

I guess he's using a lot of TC Electronics delay these days... man, it would be nice to use a $2000 studio delay for my guitar...

I've realized I don't need 1000 options or 20 seconds of delay time and I really don't like all those wierd sounds that can be achieved with some delays, so I'm going with the cheap and dirty Guyatone MD-3. Later on, perhaps a DD-3 for more delay etc. but the Holy Grail is a necessity and some kind of vibe still.

Tape Delay is to expensive for us mere mortals. It's for rock stars and rich guys with more money than sense. The fulltone and Hiwatt's are the only ones worth getting because of reliability issues. I'm boring anyway, I could play 12 bar Blues everyday and be happy, a little slap back or self ocillation just for fun and I'll love it.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

But if you had one of The Edge's TCE delays, you wouldn't mind...
