What do you think are some of the best closing lines? Here's some of mine:
I'm Open:
"Lying sideways atop crumpled sheets and no covers
he decides to dream...
Dream up a new self... for himself"
(Do more spoken word, guys!)
Army Reserve:
"I'm not frantic,
I can see it coming.
Darling you'll save me,
if you save yourself."
Unemployable:
"Near to death,
Here to die,
Scared alive"
Oh, and of course, Black:
"I know someday have a beautiful life,
I know you'll be a star, in somebody else's life
but why, why, why...
can't it be, can't it be
mine..."

As the curtain comes down
I feel that this is just goodbye for now.

I'd have to agree on one of his most moving songs. I had heard it once or twice from listening to Benaroya, and had watched Big Fish and the song as the credits rolled. But when I heard it live, I was completely overcome with the emotional element of this song. It was very powerful, now I love this song everytime I hear it.1998 ~ Barrie
