In my Tree (what inspired ED)

A long time ago I read a book and I decided to write a song about the general story cause it was so good. Then I remembered thought since the theme is about people being in trees if I could get some inspiration from that song, well i looked at the words and it dawned on me that In my Tree was exactly like this book. I didn't mention it because I was not sure, but someone else on Pearljamonline.it also made the connection.
The book Ed must have read before writing In my Tree is:
The Baron in the Trees
by Italo Calvino

It always reminded me of Catch 22 when Yossarian is sitting naked in the tree. Also of when you are little and climb into a tree. You are momentarily king or queen of the world and free. I will have to check out this book though.0

Its a john lennon inspired lyric I think...
"no one, i think, is in my tree...I mean it must be high or low."

little kid climbed a tree, watched the sunset, catching that fall breeze, just thinking of what life may bring.
