Most memorable moment at a concert....

Ok so I could sit here and tell you all about a certain song or something one of the band members did but I'm taking a different route....My brother and I were at show and we were trying to mash up to the front....we had terrible seats....We got past a couple security guards and then Spin the Black Circle came on... my brother lost it and started bouncing around and in turn drew way too much attention to himself (he is a glorified spaz)....A security guard came over checked his ticket and proceeded to grab him by the arm and kick him out...in a panic my brother didn't know what to do so he thought back to "Tommy Boy" ....the part where they are getting pulled over and they get out of the car yelling and screaming "BEES KILLER BEES"...ok so since the security guard was holding his arm so tight he screamed “Tetanus… I just got a tetanus shot your hurting me” and fell to the floor...the security guard freaked out got him some ice and took him back into the show...I was pissing myself watching this but now that I have written it all out, it just doesn't seem all that funny....sorry I’m bored at work but I’m sure other people have some pretty funny stories to tell!!!!!!

#1- My friend was wasted about 3 rows from center stage and then all of a sudden people started moving away. I realized he whipped out his crank and started peeing everywhere. My friend was so pissed he threw him down in it. Needless to say that he ended up in the drunk tank that night.

#2- PJ in Vegas 10th anniversary show

It was my last PJ show w/ my buddy Colin who was the biggest PJ fan out of anyone I know. He passed away a hair over 3 years ago from a tumor. I remember that when Crown of Thorns came on he had tears in his eyes and I will not forget that moment.

I couldn't find my friend who had mine. Luckily another friend gave me a couple caps so I could a least get a little buzz

After the words Eddie said which are in my firm, I found my self singing " I Believe in Miracles " along with 20000 people around me and Eddie tryin` to sing without making it, and falling into tears...It still shokes me listening to it in the bootleg...

My first concert was in 97 at Molson Park in Barrie and I'm sad to admit I wasn't the biggest fan back then so I didn't really get the full effect. The second was in Toronto in 2000 and I had broken up with my boyfriend but we had the tickets so we went anyway.....bad idea.

In September in Montreal, I was in the zone. I didnt stop dancing and singing for the entire concert and I had my husband beside me and I thought I might blow up I was so freakin' happy...I was on a cloud for the next coupla days and when I went home, it was such a downer to go back to real life. Has anyone else ever experienced that?

Yeah, that is common. My wife and I did 4 shows in Canada last September and for days after that it was tough to get excited about everyday stuff.

Not really a Pearl Jam concert memory as the opening band was still playing. During Idlewild's performance at the Kansas City show in 2003, the slight drizzle that had been coming down turned into a torrential rainstorm. Luckily I had brought a heavy-duty raincoat, anticipating the storm.

my favorite moment at a show was 1) dead center front row at Seattle show number 2 where ED leaned down to us told me he had to quit smoking these cigarettes that they were fucking killing him. And number 2 was flying from pittsburgh to seattle for a showbox show with no tix. But we paid a bouncer $400 to sneak us in.

my favorite moment (so far) was at the VA Beach show in 2000. it was the first show after the fans died at the Denmark show. they tagged "It's Okay" on the end of Daughter, and the whole place seemed to know why, and it felt like a calm came over everybody. people all around me were either in tears, or really close. just a memorable, and moving experience!

It was in 1994 at the, now demolished, Chicago Stadium and it was my first PJ concert. My grandmother had recently passed away and when they played "Alive" I thought of my grandma and how vibrant and full of life she was before Alzheimer's took her spirit away.

Another memorable experience was when they played at the United Center in 2003. I had some tough times that year and when they opened with "Release" -- I sang my heart out with Eddie and shed some tears. It was a wonderful moment for me.

3rd row dead center. lite up a huge cannon about 2/3 into the show and the security guy, front and center, would look all the way left and then all the way right and never looked directly at us(center view)...it's like he was saying "if i don't see them how can i tell them to stop?" lmfao

ev brought out the polaroid at the last song and i'm sure took a picture of us.

we were bad. nationwide.

Yes! Our first concert was in San Diego in 11/93. I felt exactly the same way. Like I was "on cloud nine" and I didn't want to come down. I wanted the feeling to go on forever. Kinda like a trance or something, I don't know. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Weird but fun! PJ is just amazing. Can't wait for the next concert.

the whole gorge concert...

at groundwork when eddie came out with femi kuti and the positive force and hugged them during NAIS.......they were from the east and 9/11 had just happened..it was emotional to say the least.

van 98 my first show ....in awe the whole time and THEN they played BABA!!!

This is my first post on the boards, so it might as well be about this topic.

For numerous reasons, Alive is my favorite song. Not only by Pearl Jam, but just my favorite song period. I get chills whenever I listen to it, even though I have probably heard it hundreds of times in my life.

I was at a concert in Camden, New Jersey back in 2000 (I believe). I was hoping to hear Alive played at the concert. The venue is pretty sweet, and has many rows of seats covered, and then a sloping lawn behind those seats. I was up on the lawn, and they broke into Alive about halfway through the show.

I turned to this huge dude next to me, and he lifted me up, and I was crowdsurfing the majority of the song. By the end, I was on the other side of the venue and had no idea where the rest of my friends were, but it was amazing.

It was one of those moments where I was able to really appreciate everything that was going on around me. It's up there on my list of life experiences. :-)

Audioslave with Seether at the UIC pavilion, CHicago

i knew they had been playing hungerstrike an dcal me a dog. we got up to front row, and i took three sheets of paper and wrote "RIP ANDY WOOD". so they played hungerstrike, chris comes by, looks at me, and gives me a thumbs up during the intro. it was awesome.
