    I remember after the Wrigley show weather fiasco and every event in America happening that weekend… getting a cab at 3am was impossible… had to walk all the way thru “ lil boys town” in the humidity/ summer months to a condo near where the fuckin United center. don’t ask 😆 and being from NY my whole life, working in the city like 25 yrs…and saying to myself

    ” where the fuck Am I” “ I don’t think I’m getting out alive “ 
     
    Itvwas pure mayhem… but I did find some hotdog stands to nourish me on my journey

    that fuckin lil hobbit in lord of the rings ain’t got shit on me… I wish I had a videographer that night… we had enough footage to release an interesting something 

    good times… especially if you live to tell about it 😆

    America is about surviving sometimes… god damn crazy night …

    I have my Chicago pizza mailed to me.
    There is a Portillos about 10 miles from me so once every 2 weeks or so I get my Chicago hot dog fix. 
    The only thing I dont have here is a good burrito joint. 

    As far as a good burger? Culvers kicks ass and they are everywhere. Yet I haven't had one in 10 months here. 

    Thank God Im getting my steps in, 3 days a week. A good 7 -10 miles a day. Or heart surgery #3 would be inevitable. Hahaha

    I root for you… , know you’ve been through alot and it’s not easy to maintain that mentality everyday to win every battle… I’ve had a few nights out last few months, prob drank a few too many.. but not crazy… I see my dr every week for forceable future. I’m trying hard this week, trying to transition from this boot to an actual shoe this week 

    wasn’t fun being poolside on the 4th… window shopping 🙃 

    I’m leaving following Tuesday… been ratcheting up my steps.. weighted vest, stairs… over there it’s all mountains n shit … I’ll figure it out… just get me out of here and into that vibe/zone… it’s pure relaxation

    You will get through this. Just a minor setback. Nothing wrong with drinking yourself silly every once in a while. It keeps you from going fucking insane. 

    As for me? I've seen my new Dr. 4 times in 10 months. He keeps a good eye on me. Haha

    That’s great… when you are in good care, makes huge difference.. all my nurses are fantastic, one of them.. their fiancée is prob gonna repair my house.. really nice people who have really been like family to me…last few months in outpatient I just walk in and hang until their ready… they let me hang in a rec room… whatever I wanna drink/ not booze… it’s made things exponentially better… so they will see me day before I leave and TGATS them doing me a favor to get most up to date recommendations for me ie swimming and footwear … my Podiatrist/surgeon will be in Malta/Greece/ Italy same time… I told him I’ll summon for you if I need you … I told him seriously stop by… I’ll hook your family up and have my friends give you a place …

    I was prob gonna take the summer off but my lil cousin is getting married and he wrote me a very personal letter on how it would mean alot for me to attend … he’s a great person, marrying a beautiful lady… it’s gonna be nuts
