    I was so fucking amazed at how that card cleaned up that I had to send Kurt an email. Kurt seems like such a genuine, nice guy. Someone who would be a blast to go have a few drinks with, and discuss cards.
    Well, sure as shit, Kurt emailed be back rather quickly. I could tell that he was genuinely thrilled for me. He is just a good guy!
    Very cool.

    There are people that vicarate him and his "juice". I say, clean up the card and you can't tell it was cleaned?  You did what you were supposed to do.

    Good for him to bringing cards back to life.
    I could go on an old school "SPEEDY RANT" about the fucking blithering idiots on you tube, that condemn Kurt. I could go on for hours. But I don't want to waste my energy talking about a bunch of middle aged men, who go on the internet in a group and discuss baseball cards, as if they are sitting at a board meeting for a fortune 500 company. Give me a fucking break.

    I've seen the FUCKING MORONS demanding to know what kind of chemicals Kurt is using. Demanding to know how will it effect those cards in 10-20 years. Hoping and praying that PSA and SGC will find a way to detect cleaned cards! 

    Are these morons that fucking stupid? Why YES they certainly are!

    Its fucking 95% distilled water with a few drops of isopropyl. Thats it. The fucking clowns should go read about the difference between using distilled water or tap water when cleaning paper products. They should maybe try to educate themselves. PSA and other grading companies can say whatever the fuck they want. Fact is? Its just fucking water. 

    The dents, creases, etc?
    When the card is filled with water the fibers obviously expand and then settle back to their original shape. As least that is what myself and others hope for. Doesn't always happen. 

    And I could show everyone here a video when it comes to creases. Where the MASTER KURT admits that MOST of the time when trying to get rid of a crease? There will be a line left behind. MOST of the time the crease will not disappear. HIS EXACT WORDS. 

    Dents? A lot easier to get rid of. Fill the card with water, let dry, dent gone. Poof!

    My next adventure when I am finished with the 59s? I will be attempting to put together a 61 set. The 61 will be a little more difficult and expensive. I truly dont care about the cost, but its just a fact, its going to be more expensive than a 59 set. 
    Why?
    There are base cards, all star cards, and mvp cards. Which means, 3 Mantles, 3 Mays, 3 Aaron, 3 Clemente, Koufax, Brooks and Frank, etc. etc. 
    Like the 59s I want these to be mostly ex-mnt. Which means I will be paying a premium. 
    Like the 59s though. I already own the base Mantle, Mays, Clemente, etc. etc. So that's already taken care of. It will take a good year, maybe 2. But I'll make it happen. 

    Collecting, cleaning, and putting together vintage sets IS A FUCKING HOOT!!! Its just a boatload of fun for me.

    My latest pick up. One of my top 3 grail cards. Always looking for a lower grade with great eye appeal, was very happy to add this one to the PC.

    Yes and Actually there is a remnant of pin holes at his hat and forearm. But you can barely tell on the back. Could be one of the best 1s out there.

    Thats a rare great pull.

    I've seen what some of these cards go for and I am like "dafuq"!?!  A Mickey Mouse auto sold for what? It's not even a real person...

    So yeah, these and those stupid Vee Friends cards have to be some manipulation crap.

    I have noticed real peoples autos can command a premium.  A&G does cool stuff like that.  1k for a Tony Hawk auto...

    I will admit I got rather lucky as far as what I spent. But I still spent quite a bit on both sets. But the luck I had on ripping new packs? AND FLIPPING? Just insanity. Talk about a horseshoe up my ass.
