NBA analytics hates JB (negative +/- his entire career as example) and why most teams didn't want him.  Not saying I'm a fan of the trade but you don't think they would of taken a better offer if they got one?  A super max salary player with negative analystic ratings - like awful  -is an all time stat nerds versus "casual" fans watching games.  I am very interested to see how this plays out.
I'm wondering what Brown did to get traded?  Dude is a great player but the Celts wanted him gone.
Local reporter Chris Mannix mentioned Brown's Twitch streams caused "some headaches" for the organization.
If that's why they traded him, they should all be fired. A lot of speculation is that it's financially driven, Brown up for another extension soon (on top of 3 remaining years at $57.7 Mil, $61.6 Mil and $65,6 Mil). Dayoff P is no bargain at $57.7Mil this year and a player option for next at $56.7 Mil Probably the worst FA contract in organized sports history), but it is shorter term (he ain't getting extended) and a bit less. New ownership has been unloading salaries since last offseason to get under all the aprons and thresholds etc. NBA's current rules punish teams with multiple max contract guys. And new ownership is essentially a private equity group and therefore profit is the priority not titles. Sucks for the fans.
    This weekend we rock Portland
