Out of curiosity I looked up the top 100 pitchers. I was a bit surprised to see Ryan at #28

    I would have guess higher

    https://baseballegg.com/all-time-player-rankings/baseballs-greatest-starting-pitchers-of-all-time/
This list is "interesting".  Having Niekro that high is mind boggling.

Top 5 for me and what I have seen and read.

    Cy Young
    Maddux
    Spahn
    Randy Johnson
    Seaver

    Next 5

    Clemens
    Walter Johnson
    Pedro
    Clemens
    Gibson/Koufax

That's funny to me that you have Gibson/Koufax the same. When I was in my 20's I was talking to a guy (at work) in his 50; s or 60's and I told him my Dad would've taken Bob Gibson if he needed to win game-7, and this guy said he take Sandy Koufax. He was a LAD fan and my Dad was a Phillies fan.

Koufax not in the top 10?
Koufax not in the top 20?
I now consider that list to
    Be nothing but Horse Hooey.
Zack F'in Greinke 9 spots higher than Koufax?
Who made the list? Greinke's mom?

I can’t really argue with the top 10 but some of the other rating are bullshit IMO.

How's $60 million man doing? Funny I haven't heard anything about him positive or negative. Imagine if the Yankees or Mets signed him

Those two were both amazing to me.  Gibson would have won another WS pretty much by himself if Curt Flood didn't misplay that ball.

Koufax threw 2 pitches and got everybody out.

I wouldn't have a problem having either of them starting a game 7 for me.

This has tio be Kyle Tucker.

I am shocked at how bad he is actually doing.  He's better than this.

Even so it wasn't worth that much. His previous numbers don't scream that amount

    Just saying

    1961
    Maris
    Mantle

Norm Cash had a better year than both of them.

    Carry on.

Yeah I don't know about that...

Mantle, had he not been hurt would have killed a bunch of records that year.  Even so he had a better WAR than Cash.  Cash raked but i like Mantles numbers more.

Maris got the MVP for the HRs and the fact that they were way ahead in the standings over Detroit.

I see those fucking d*dgers found another revenue stream in an enhanced stadium name. It will always be Chavez Latrine to me.
