It’s been a great series… SA under a minute is not easy to watch. That’s the youth … Wemby pass to Castles back … Fox, the vet … what a stupid play. NFL guys know to get down at one yard line and they get hit in the head all life 😛 what’s his excuse?

I was folding laundry during start of 2nd half… packing slowly , so today I’m not overwhelmed… did all my meetings so far on zoom… house is a mess, it’s gonna take lotta coffee to get me moving tiday

I went to NFC championship that year and 3 other games....they rolled everyone...what a kick in the balls

Fox ....Its tough, hes toughed out a bad high ankle sprain and has been good at times...He made a sick move, taking Brunson in Game 3...His handle is usually smooth, being a lefty...and hes well spoken, smart dude....u gotta know the situation

I rarely watch the NBA, but at the beginning of this series was intrigued to watch due to the Wembayana and Knicks spectacle (man Wemby is a wonder).

Great games and series so far. Really hoping the Spurs can extend it.

Some things that were striking:

They have ruined the sport with all the reviews. It seems like they stop the game and review everything. It is awful. Game 4 of the NBA Finals is one thing, but if this was being done in Game 23 in early December, Im going to sleep or changing the channel. They also have the same problem that NHL reviews have for the most part and nobody even knows the criteria for what they are reviewing with fouls.
For out of bounds calls, they really need to streamline it and have a war-room call it in within seconds.

Also, I do not like how fans (in this case ultra wealthy and celebs) are on the court during the game. The whole 4th quarter (and I noticed it last game too), they are way out to the front edge of the OB line. At one point, Taylor Swift and her little band were circle/jumping around, it had to be in the field of play, while San Antonio had the ball on that same side. At another point on the end, a San Antonio player may have stepped out and a fan ran up to him, taunted him, and pointed down close to his foot to show the ref that he had stepped out. This all seems very dangerous, distracting, and a slippery slope. I know before you had clowns like Spike Lee and Drake having a rapport with players, but everyone seems to want to be on camera and a part of the action.

The crowd needs to be moved back past a buffer of the OB line, and if certain threshold is violated the crowd gets a warning and the second time the home team gets a Technical Foul or something.

I thought he should've kept on dribbling pass the basket.

What made it worse was Fox said he "thought" he could beat OG for the layup. The ONLY way, if you were to take the layup, is IF you were so far ahead. But still that one play didn't cost them blowing that big ass lead.

OG with the hustle to block the shot and that Tip-In was ridiculous. Unbelievable!

The crowd needs to be moved back past a buffer of the OB line, and if certain threshold is violated the crowd gets a warning and the second time the home team gets a Technical Foul or something.

I just said the same thing in the Knicks thread about the fans being that close. I get it's cool fans can sit on the court but they are one crazy player or fan and a bad incident away from that going away. Hell on the last in bounds play the fans were almost like a defender next to the guy throwing the ball in. Behind the basket there are lines for where photogs have to stay behind, why do they not have this on the sidelines? i know its because they can charge ridiculous prices for those seats but they are just begging for a bad incident. And as a hoops fan, seats on the floor suck other than to be seen. Much rather sit 10 to 20 rows up.

My guess is if that is common people they are thrown out? or the very least security warns them to stay back?

Yea…. I saw Falcons put up 2 pts at MetLife on one of the Giants playoff games, they went on to win SB that year

Spurs last night gutted me 😆 it takes talent to fuck uo that bad… Fox, not just that last play…he had a handful of terrible turnovers… throwing the ball across the court to no one multiple times… game 3 he had some great moves inside and a big shot

writing on the wall for him… he’s gone in offseason regardless, Harper needs to start.. with his salary, tough to move.. return won’t be great.

i blame the coach.. he has to tell them situational ball at times … to be mindful of clock and go the line

At the airport… talked to Jason Mraz for a minute.. I’ve met Chuck Schumer, Pele, Derrick Coleman, Punky Brewster, Anthony Edward’s from ER all in front of me thru security … it’s funny

Jason was very nice

There are some Spurs rallies tomorrow.. gonna meet Bruce Bowen at a card show if I go… looking forward to some relaxing times until the game starts and my blood pressure spikes 😛
