Yes Tixr was last year rental locker and last year I parked at the new parking garage.. which in theory maybe 5 mins during the day but in reality at the end of the night it’s closer to 15 mins 😂 due to crowds lol
did they manage traffic getting out of there pretty well?

we tend to leave a few minutes early to avoid waiting too long

It's incredibly well managed.  Less than a few minutes to get out and away from DP.  The garage didn't look too crowded when we were there (we parked on the bottom level and it was only ~3/4 full), I don't think they wanted to sell out the whole thing for the festival.  This year may be different now that they know the balance between the concert and other visitors.

Anyone have more insight to the waitlist other than what’s listed on the website?

Ohana has rarely sold out so I thought I’d be able to get tickets within a few days at least of the on sale date and missed the Pearl Jam Day. I got put on the waitlist around 3pm of the general sale day but still hoping I can make it work out. Just don’t want to have to go on the secondary market.
    here for the music...

Question for the locker pros. How are you bringing in the stuff you are storing in there? I get the idea of bringing a change of clothes, layers, etc for later in the evening, the phone charging seems nice. How are you expected to get all that through security if you can't bring a bag larger than like 6x9. Do you just lug all that stuff through security and dump it in a locker?

I am just trying to figure out if a locker is worth it for Sunday night. Trying to get as close to the stage as possible, not rail, but not far back either.

I bring the clear bag - 12" x 6" x 12". I can usually fold up a shirt in that. However, I generally wear my layers in. I also tie a hoodie around my waist. I will wear the outer jacket. If it is too hot in line, I just put the layers on right before we go in, and take them off at the locker. I don't bring other pants though. I just wear the same ones all day.

It does get cold there (sometimes) at night...better to bring it in rather than having to buy a $100 hoodie at the merch booth

Yea I would assume so, CA in September on the water, bring a jacket. I work for a popular outdoor clothing retailer and have no shortage of layers. The logistics of bringing in said layers is what I am wondering about. On that locker site it says " We recommend storing merchandise, jackets, shoes, bags, or a change of clothes. You'll appreciate not having to carry these items around during the day!" I'm like that's cool, how I am to bring these to the locker if they don't allow bags past security. I get merch, and I suppose shoes if you are going to ditch them in the festival just curious how people lug these in past security to cover the wide range of temperatures that are possible.

So I get how to bring in all the stuff. But what if you want a place close to the stage? You sprint with all the stuff and the layers, get a spot & then can go to your locker without the other people getting pissed?

I first get my spot and hang out for a while with all my stuff.  Then I just let the people around me know I am running to the locker really quick. People have always let me get back to my spot. It’s the same concept as getting food or running to the restroom.

Last year was warmer so my layers were minimal. It was easy to hold them for an hour or two before going to the locker.

Also, if you are near the front it stays pretty warm due to the packed in crowd. All I needed was the flannel shirt I had tied around my waist. I used the locker mainly to hold my merch.

Any Locals know if I could park about a Mile, or 2 Miles, away and then ride a Bike to the Festival? If so, any Free parking places? And would it be a safe bike ride? (I'd be willing to pay if it makes it easier to get there and out). I'm staying about 10 miles away.

Yes, there's plenty of street parking nearby.  Depending on how early you get there, you could easily be half a mile to a mile away and ride a bike pretty simply.  There are bike racks around the south corner of the entrance to park/lock.  There's parking along Stonehill that fills up pretty quickly, or various neighborhoods to the NE of the beach.  San Juan Creek trail will get you right to the venue.

someone said that they would fit a large locker without a tube...assuming they do the same as before you could also "check" your poster tube in the same area I believe

Stone confirmed that the band has a new drummer during an interview on PJ Radio today, but did not reveal their identity. This confirms what we suspected.

Per a post by SPIN magazine:

Pearl Jam has indeed chosen its new drummer, but the band is not making any grand reveals ahead of what will be its first show with Matt Cameron’s replacement on Sept. 27 at Eddie Vedder’s Ohana festival in Dana Point, CA. Former Soundgarden member Cameron exited Pearl Jam amicably in July 2025 after a 27-year-run.

“I love the mystery of it all. It’s so exciting,” guitarist Stone Gossard said of Pearl Jam’s next iteration in a new interview today on SiriusXM’s Pearl Jam Radio. “There’s not enough mystery in the world. I think the band is very excited that we’re actually getting to play. It’s been a while and the fact that we get to do it at Ohana makes it even doubly exciting. And the fact that nobody knows who’s going to play drums with us even makes it triply exciting. So, it’s our mystery wrapped in an enigma and we’re relishing in it right now.”

The 10th anniversary Ohana lineup at Doheny State Beach will also feature headlining sets from Vedder and unnamed friends on Sept. 25 and Tyler Childers the following night. The undercard boasts Mexican rock legends Maná, Billy Idol, Bad Religion, Courtney Barnett, Bob Mould’s reunited Sugar, Alabama Shakes, Jon Batiste, Men I Trust, Fontaines D.C., Pixies, Rilo Kiley, the Format and Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament’s side band P.E.S.T.
“Matt Cameron has always come at things with an openness to all the people in the room and with grace and love for this process,” Gossard said when asked about Cameron’s contributions to Pearl Jam, which began as far back as 1990 when he drummed on some of Gossard’s earliest band demos. “His playing speaks for itself. Matt’s always going to be our brother.”

“He was ready for a shift and ready for a change,” he continued. “God bless him, and we love Matt always. But I think it’s also going to be good for us to in a sense of letting that unknown enter into the equation again [and] giving us a chance to to regroup and try to still be good. That’s a cool challenge. Where do you go after Matt Cameron? It’s a big question, and he always served the music [in an] outstanding [way]. He always played with power and with energy, and it’ll be a tough task to figure that out. But I’m confident that we’re going to be able to do it.”

Asked what he’s been doing to stay sharp during Pearl Jam’s year-long break from the stage, Gossard reported, “I’ve actually been playing more guitar than I have in a long time, which is great. It’s part of my daily routine [to] pick it up, mess around [and] play along with some stuff just to keep my fingers nimble. But [I’m] also spending a lot of time in the studio making demos, trying different things [and] dreaming about what Ed might like and where could we go that would be fun? I think everyone in the band has done the same thing. So, everyone’s itching to play.”

One drummer who apparently won’t be joining the band is Dave Krusen, the first person to serve behind the kit for Pearl Jam from 1990-1991. Krusen, who also played on the band’s landmark 1991 debut album Ten, was inducted with Pearl Jam into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 and performed with his former colleagues at the New York induction ceremony for the first time in 26 years. Replying to a fan’s Instagram question earlier this week about if he was “coming back,” he replied, “no, they have a new drummer already.”
    First show: Mansfield N1 1998
    Last show: Pittsburgh N2 2025
    Show count = 80

I think SPIN is making a pretty big assumption here. I wouldn’t say Stone confirmed anything definitely other than there is mystery on who is playing drums with them at Ohana. Whether that is their new full time drummer or not who knows.
