Jack is in Pomona Fri. on his own tour. His only off night during Ohana is Sun. Same with Billie Strings. I guess they already had the headliner for Sun!

I was glad to see that Sugar had a free night in their local tour dates, was hoping they might be in the lineup. Kinda wanted Beck too, but hus only free night from his own tour was also Sun.

On the other hand, Jack could join PJ on Sunday on Of The Earth, as he did in 2016. I would Love that!! Haven't seen it live. Brush up, new drummer!

** oops he's also off Sat. My bad. That would have been perfect.

*** I guess OTE would take up too much time, limiting the # of other songs, so maybe not as good an idea as I first thought. Just free associating here after the tension release of the extended uncertainty. Apologies 🤣.

I was going to take a break from Ohana this year, but, this lineup, yet again, pulls me back in. However, I am limiting myself to Sunday night only, which with the PJ presale this morning, I was able to secure a ticket.

Is the VIP section worth it?  Does it get crowded?  Is it close to the stage?

    Thanks for your input!
No,  no, not really any closer and the lame people sit in the VIP bleacher section and look dead

What does it take to get in the front 20 rows or so for EV and PJ at Ohana? Does it mean being at the front gate before 12:00, and then heading straight to the stage and claiming your spot and staying there until 8:00 p.m.? I see that towels aren't allowed after 4, so are you then standing from 4-10?

If you are ok being closer to 20 rows back that is fine. If you want the front row rail or really close to the stage you would likely have to show up before dawn or really early in the morning for Pearl Jam. Towels have not been allowed at all closer to the stage. They are allowed further back. We just sit on the grass between sets. But once you have your spot you should not leave for very long. Going to the bathroom or grabbing food is ok but make friends with the people around you. This becomes more important the closer you are to the stage where it tends to get packed.

It sounds like it would be such a cool experience, but I'm not sure I'm cut out for waiting/standing/sitting in a small space for 15+ hours 🤣. I don't even have back problems or anything, but I'm in a lot of pain if I stand still or sit on the ground for hours. I do great walking all day! And I need SO many bathroom breaks, especially if trying to stay hydrated on a hot day.

Although it sounds far preferable to do this at Ohana, compared to doing it outside of a stadium venue!

What about for EV? Are lineup times about the same as for Pearl Jam?

EV will have less demand because he’s not Pearl Jam and it’s Friday. You get decently close if you head in between 5 and 6:00. Take care of business before 7:30 because you won’t be able to leave your spot after 8:00 when the show on the side stage ends and everyone mashes over right to left from that stage.
