    This has just been ruled out.  She's announced her own tour starting in New England the same weekend as Ohana.

    My question is why the delay? There must be a formula from when dates are announced to when line up is announced? Every year is later with both.  If Jack White is playing it has nothing to do with his tour as all of his CA shows are sold out so no conflict there.  I can’t believe they are still “finalizing” bands. Just curious how they decide to keep making us wait longer? I already bought plane tickets and air bnb so I’m definitely going but I’m sure many are waiting for line up to pull trigger. I go to a lot of Reggae Rise up festivals and they are in like 7 cities now and they sell tickets one  year out (loyalty price) and those line ups are like clockwork. 
    There could be all sorts of reasons, and only they would know the truth.  But it's likely one of 3 things:

    1. They can't announce as one of the headliners has some sort of exclusion clause in their contract, e.g. Jack White.  Even though his shows are sold out, there may be something legally in his contract that requires no other shows within a certain distance to go on sale for a defined period, so they're waiting for that to be over.

    2. They have a big artist lined up who hasn't announced their own tour yet, and they need to sync up to that.

    3. There's some last minute negotiations with artists who might be available.

    But honestly even these are just me guessing...

    I would like to hope that Billy Strings fits at least one of these (if not two).  His recent injury may have him rethinking Ohana, or his whole fall tour for that matter, and they may be trying to fill his spot.  If he's indeed a wildcard for Sunday.

    ACL - which spans the two weekends after Ohana - celebrates its 25th anniversary this year as well, and announces on Tuesday next week.  There could well be some crossover between the two festivals.

    Anything Pearl Jam related is notoriously the longest wait for announcements. Meanwhile DMB and Foo Fighters are announcing 90 shows a year every year with zero waiting.

    It’s almost a dead certainty at this point.

    ACL drops 9am local on Tuesday. Unless things change to sync up the announcements then pretty much the best case scenario right now is that Ohana drops a few hours later at 10am Pacific the same day… but, I wouldn’t be holding my breath even for that unless there’s some kind of hint on socials or they update the Ohana website over the next few days.

    You are right and by their other last dates Pixies on the 27th, last day of Ohana

    They are on my "never seen them, but would happily check them out for a 60 minute festival set" list. I was also hoping that Interpol would make Ohana, but doesn't look like their tour lines up.

    If they are Sunday headliner I'll be happy to stay home... unless undercard is amazing, but doubt it'll be worth the price of ticket
