Definitely -Gone- right now. Sometimes my wife and I just feel really restless in general, and we just hop in the car and drive, to nowhere, making turns when we feel like it.

We've gone several states away with no plan before deciding to turn back for home. Makes us feel really free for a moment.

Man, thats precisely what life is to me.

I wish I was older to do that. Thats what its all about. Just driving, states on end, listening, thinking... thats it.

I wish I could do that.

Next time youre out on the road, close your eyes and be there for me.
    Nothing Better than Leather, man!

''i dont wanna think, i wanna feel''
  • This line hit me like a ton a bricks still in the truck that was bringing that ton to an undisclosed location, so with several extra tons of metal with the ton of bricks.

    Those undecided
Needn't have faith to be free.
    And those misguided,
There was a plan for them to be...
    Now you got both sides
    Claiming 'killing in god's name'.
    But god is nowhere
    To be found, conveniently...

    "underneath this smile lies everything"

this line stayed with me from day one;)
If I could be anything in the world I would be your teardrop...I would be born in your eyes, live on your cheeks, and die on your lips.

My favorite is probably this verse from Unemployable:

"Well his wife and kids' asleep but he's still awake
On his brain weighs the curse of thirty bills unpaid
Gets up, lights a cigarette he's grown to hate
Thinkin if he can't sleep, how will he ever dream again..."

With this section from Army Reserve being a close second:

    "Her son's slanted
Always giving her the sideways eye
An empty chair where dad sits
    How loud can silence get?
And mom, she reassures to contain him
    But it's becoming a lie...
She tells herself and everyone else
Father is risking his life for our freedoms"

I love how he sings the last two lines from that. Like the mother knows it's not entirely true, but is trying to convince herself that it is. So sad.

Both of which I agree, but Army Reserve I would place first. Of all the posts I do not see much write up over this song.

    Its awesome- music and lyrics.
