    question on NIL…does the school/boosters actually have to do something with the name, image and likeness or can they just flat out pay the “student athlete.” I ask because stinking BYU just landed the #1 recruit snd I can’t see a brother from Boston actually pitching anything to the mormons. Fucking Danny Ainge and the Jazz owner were heavily involved in getting this guy to their alma mater while they run the Jazz into the ground. :angry:

    I don’t think so.  I think it’s just play for pay. At this time the schools can’t be a part of nil.  It’s all boosters and companies. Right now there are no limits but that will change eventually

    I have the unfortunate pleasure of being a Syracuse University alumni. Yes we won one Championship. One. The most overrated basketball program of all time. And to this day they cannot make a free throw. Uconn and Calhoun kicked our ass for years. And of course five of my family members went there. But we have the best Lacrosse program! Yeah no one cares. But at least I got a good education, only cost me 75K. In 1988.

    Not a foul, guy went straight up.  Hell of a game though.  Shocked the Ohio guy missed the shot at end of regulation. 

    I think Miami wins a game in the NCAAs but they may lose to Akron in the conference tourney.

    If they got in, the whole country except for Auburn fans would be rooting for them to get drilled by 30. Auburn is 39th in the NET and 4-12 in quad one games. If they won two games in the SEC that would get them to 18-15 and while a few teams got in with that record, it'd hard to envision them in unless they reached the championship game.
