Between Oceans Calling and Bourbon and Beyond, looks like Dave Matthews and Mumford and Sons are both out for Ohana

Kinda disappointed in M&S at inningsfest a couple weeks ago. Great set, but they hardly put in an hour of playing for a closer.

I'm, for one, glad none of these band is likely to play Ohana.
    Curious to see who will.

I would really, really like to see Johnny Blue Skies make an Ohana appearance, that new album is all kinds of good.

As of last night, flight from Boston to Santa Ana (via somewhere) was 500$ with the refundable option.
Is this as good as it gets?

You might find something on Spirit or Southwest. You could not pay me enough to book those airlines. $500 for a cross country flight, even with a stop, does not seem high.

Wondering if I should book it. I was going to wait until the lineup drops.

SNA more expensive than flying into SAN and driving up the coast.
SOUTHWEST has lots of flights to SAN

Ohana is a great time no matter the line up. If you have the time and and the funds. Just go. You know there will be multiple Ed performances. And from my experience, there will be at least two bands you never heard of that you will be listening too much longer after the fest. Mine are Caamp and the Back Seat Lovers.

So? What city?  18 min doesn't mean anything to me... in OC traffic 18 min can be 30 min± drive.

I flew into  San Diego in ‘21. Decent airport and a nice drive up the coast to get to Dana Point. If I go again, will do the same thing.

With the rise of oil prices - and therefore gas / fuel- I fully expect flights to become more expensive now. Perhaps if the budget allows, book now?

What are you asking other people for? Do what you're comfortable with... this world is unpredictable right now and I for one don't want to spend more than necessary as the economy takes the brunt of this WAR... nothing is certain.

Just book it and forget about it! The stress of trying to time the best price/time to buy a flight isn’t worth it.. can’t imagine going up or down that dramatically.
