GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
We're gonna get you in the door for Halloween. And you have to dress up lolol.May your days be long, til kingdom come.0 -
Then I won't tell you lolol. They were not cheap.eeriepadave said:WOW! I don't even want to know how much you paid for them.
Metallica is one of my Mount Rushmore bands.
I go to Vegas every couple of years with my best buddy from college. Haven't seen him in a couple of years, and not since I had a heart attack last year.
Seeing Metallica at The Sphere on Halloween in a penguin costume is something that I can't put a figurative price on. I couldn't be more excited. I wanna fucking cry lol.May your days be long, til kingdom come.0 -
^^ That's awesome I hope you have a great time. I got through but couldn't pull the trigger on tickets that expensive. I'm going to think about it some more when the new dates get announced.

How does the cost and demand for Metallica compare to the other Sphere shows? I don't remember it being this tough/expensive but maybe I just wasn't tracking them all that close.0
-
Seems like the cost & demand are waaaaaaay higher than other shows/acts, but I'm not the best judge. My only other show there was Dead & Co. on my birthday in-between the 2 PJ Vegas shows in 2024. I got a great seat in the middle of the 200 section, top row, for less than $300 face.pjl44 said:How does the cost and demand for Metallica compare to the other Sphere shows? Only 8 shows (although I think I read they were adding six more) but really would be a total of 7 weekend packages. I can see why demand is so high. And I assume most will go both nights. Again, a much older fanbase that has money in their pockets and can spend it this way if they want.
I can appreciate any band going with no repeats, but with Metallica, you know exactly what setlist you're getting for whatever night you want to go. And for true diehards, that kind of sucks because you are almost forced to go both nights to hear all the songs you want to hear.
I've seen then 4 times but all back in the 90's. They do put on a great show. But I would be irked at having to basically choose to miss certain songs. But I will anxiously watch the videos and enjoy it that way! Hope everyone has a blast!0 -
The setlist was my thought for not going. I would get the same songs in the last no repeat weekend I saw them.CantKeepmedown said:Only 8 shows (although I think I read they were adding six more) but really would be a total of 7 weekend packages. They'll change up a few here and there.
Do I want to see them at the sphere still? F N A I do.0 -

Dang. I remember waiting for that to come out and spinning it at my friend's house. Great record. Not sure how all that time got behind me..eeriepadave said:Happy 40th to Master of Puppets! 🤘

Hoping to snag 2 for the first night as that would work out nicely as a stop in Vegas on our way home from Ohana. I told my husband last year that if Metallica or Tool ever play the Sphere, we have to go. The timing is awesome, the ticket buying so far - not so much. Tried for the first two presales with no luck (200k+ in front of me in the queue, lol). Will try the Sirius presale and the general sale and then just hope for a miracle if we strike out on those too.
ISO a pair anywhere in the building for face value on 10/1 😂
We did the Vegas Dead and Co/PJ sandwich in 2024. The Sphere is sick, would love to see Metallica there.0 -

It was a shit show for tge November & January shows that went on sale today. Tried to enter the waiting room for the entire 30 minutes and couldn't even get in there. Then about 10 minutes after on sale, I ended up 229XXX in queue. Then obviously sold out. It was going to be my first birthday show. Oh well..."A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0

After trying in the previous sales, I finally was able to get tickets yesterday. The queuing was super slow but I just waited it out. I was less than 100 in the queue when I started and it still took almost 45 minutes to get into the sale. One of the tricks is to join the waitlist when it opens 30 minutes before the sale starts then you will automatically join the queue when the sale starts and after doing that for all of the sales, I was never more than 450 in the queue when starting out.0

More dates added again. You knew this was going to happen. I hope the scalpers who bought a bunch of the tickets get screwed0

Yep. Sphere residencies always keep getting extended to meet demand. Patience is key when looking for tickets.GB281198 said:More dates added again. You knew this was going to happen. I hope the scalpers who bought a bunch of the tickets get screwedThis weekend we rock Portland0 -
There was some sort of attempted cyber attack on Ticketmaster that really slowed things down. I was trying for Gorillaz tickets and the waiting room was slow as molasses!Of The Aggie said:After trying in the previous sales, I finally was able to get tickets yesterday. ah..I think it ended up being an advantage as maybe people dropped out who didn't or couldn't wait and so there wasn't as much of a crush when getting in.JOEJOEJOE said:
