We are excited to announce tour dates for the DRINK THE SEA world tour. The line up is: Peter Buck (R.E.M.), Duke Garwood (Mark Lanegan Band), Alain Johannes (Eleven, QOTSA), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season), percussionist Lisette Garcia, and bassist Abbey Blackwell. There will also be original films from award-winning PBS filmmaker Tad Fettig who will be projecting his original films from around the world, synchronized to the setlist. This is an evening of music and film you will not want to miss! Tickets are on sale now on the venue websites and also in the Events section of our pages.

I’d love to see them, but I imagine the chances of them making it to Australia are probably pretty slim  :s

Awesome! The reviews I’ve seen have been great, I hope they tour over here eventually.

Duke is giving me (a very small sliver of) hope that they’ll eventually make it down here!

'Oh Desire', the first single from Drink The Sea III

    https://youtu.be/3F9gzZlbEPY?si=2yvASPc24C6svRLB

Barrett: “Oh Desire” is a song that Peter Buck brought into the studio and Alain Johannes wrote the lyrics and sang it beautifully and powerfully. Barrett Martin played drums and bass, Duke Garwood played guitar, and Lisette Garcia played percussion.

'Parisian Voodoo', the second single from Drink the Sea III

    https://youtu.be/JtRB-lthxaw?si=cJCaL3ZqAc8QDZPT

Barrett: "Hey folks, we are happy to announce the release of the next single from our new album, Drink The Sea III. This one is titled, “Parisian Voodoo” and it was inspired from a soundcheck we did in Paris, France on our first European tour.
I yelled over to Alain, “Let’s jam on something that sounds like Bitches Brew.” I started the rhythm, Alain laid down the juice, Duke howled through his soprano saxophone, and Lisette and Peter joined in on their parts. The rough sketch we did in Paris (recorded on my iPhone) is not too far off from the final studio recording we present to you today (with Kelsey Mines on the bass!). So for all you lovely Paris people who came out to that incandescent show last December 9th of 2025, this Voodoo is for you."

Some sad news from the Drink The Sea camp. Filmmaker Tad Fettig, who made all the videos for the DTS I & II songs, has lost his battle with cancer.
