I'm pissed I missed this... I would have LOVED to have gone...
It hasn’t happened yet, you haven’t missed anything.  It’s in three days.

Kirk had a sound clip on XM about how they wore Masks for Halloween once.  He sad he didn’t know how bands like SLIPKNOT can wear tem a whole show as he felt like puking after 1 song

    LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I could not be more excited for this.

Saw Dead & Co. there on my birthday 2 years ago. First time at The Sphere. It was spectacular.

Metallica is one of my Mount Rushmore bands. I will absolutely be at at least one of the weekends.

For those of you who have seen shows in the Snake Pit, question, maybe a dumb one lol:

Is the Snake Pit rough? Is it packed?

The only packages that include Meet & Greets are Snake Pit packages.

I'm not terribly interested in the Snake Pit, but I'm looking at the Meet & Greet because I'd want to share my story w/the band.

I supposed I could chill from the very back and watch the show and not get my ass kicked or kick anyone's ass lol.
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

The Snake Pit is not rough at all. It is usually packed pretty tightly, but you can definitely move around if needed. I just don’t think the Snake Pit is the way to go for these shows. I don’t think you’d get the overall visuals of the place down in front.

Thank you, yeah that was the other thing. Not keen on looking almost straight up at the band for 2 hours in general, never mind at this show. The visual piece is so next-level.

If reserved Meet & Greet was an option I'd do it no matter the cost.

Yeah agreed. The added costs of what goes into Sphere shows means that acts have to play a certain number of shows to make it worthwhile financially, even at Metallica's high price points.

"Many heavy rock fans will I assume soon be making their first ever visit to @SphereVegas for @Metallica

A couple tips: if you are on the floor in GA you will miss any images on the stage floor. Floor is cool, but you do miss stuff.

Also if you are on the floor or stand the whole show at your seat you will miss out on the bass speaker built into every seat.

Best location would be mid level center. You want to be up and back a bit to take in the scope of visuals. And to feel the full sound you want to be seated."

At least that one comes with 3 nights at the Venetian. $5500 for the meet and greet snake pit with no hotel is pretty wild.

The travel packages were all sold out when I finally got through. Also didn't see any for the cost I got in the email. Cheapest pair was 3800
  • ridiculous. middle class are being pushed out of concerts, slowly but surely. I understand this is a premium show, but FFS make it not so stupid.
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer

Got in the queue at 4PM.

    Was 135K in line.

    40 minutes, sold out.

Tickets kept popping up, couldn't cart them.

Had to re-enter the queue, 150K in line.

After an hour and 9 minutes...

    LET'S
    FUCKING
    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
