U2 has some great songs but Bono is a ham, I know, not a popular opinion, I like their music but I find him to be insufferable, take the good with the bad I guess

Most front singers are but I can look past it with U2 I love their music and the Edge is a great song writer! I’ve seen over 400 concerts dating back to 1974 and the Sphere show I saw by them was by far the best concert I’ve ever attended

I saw them at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro in 2009 and it was one of worst shows I've ever been to.  It doesn't change the fact I think they have great songs but there's something about Bono that I simply don't like.  He annoys me more than most lead singers.  Ed does a lot of talking from time to time and I can do without chromatic harp and amalgamation but other than that, he's the man and always will be.  Same can be said for all the singers I like, Cornell, Homme, White to name a few but Bono with his yapping then the facial expressions and body language - I admit, it bothers me more than it should since I like their songs but he drives me bananas.

I get it! I feel the same way about Grohl as a drummer he was great to watch as a front man is another story!

    Thanks for this.

I listen to the first song once and sounds good to me. Some powerful lyrics.

I get ya, but for me, it's just become kinda funny at this point. Like, okay, here he goes talkin' shit....but then they bust into some era defining song and it's all good.

I dug 3/5 songs on the last EP. Looking forward to listening to this later. Two great surprises after a very long drought of new music. And still a new album on the way.

Who has replaced the members of U2 with musicians who actually release things quickly without overthinking things?
