They're both playing on Thursday. So, there's still a chance.

They play Vegas on the Saturday night, so the only possibility would be Sunday at Ohana but that's unlikely as they don't usually play on back to back nights.

I'm kinda hoping that for the 10th anniversary, Ohana books the heaviest hitters from over the years. There are plenty to choose from: PJ, of course, but also FF, Brandi, Billy Strings, Jack White.
Or they can go with new heavy hitters like Bruce and Yungblud.

They could. Last year Green Day played another festival the same weekend as Ohana. They would just have to rush on over there.

This is what I love about the forum - the Glen News is something I completely missed and now I see he’s coming to my town!

As for Bruce, I think I might try for a show.  I feel like that will be a tough ticket.  And I agree with the comment on the brilliance of starting in MN and ending in DC.  Some things are more important than an efficient route.
And here I thought you were about to thank me for making you aware of the Hilary Duff dates. I see how it is.
Trust me,  K is very excited that you broke Hilary Duff dates.   He's planning to hit the entire run.

I’m going to see if I can get a ticket to the NY show! But I thought a lot of his fans are pro Trump no or have they abandoned him?
His fan base, while not as far to the left as Pearl Jam's, is historically left leaning. As time has gone on and he has made himself very loud and clear as to where he stands politically and morally, his fans from the brainwashed maga world have moved on.

You have 3 shows in NYC to choose from.
    Hopefully you'll get lucky.
Im staying away from the East Coast shows. Easier to get tickets in those less populated areas.

There's a LOT of people out there who think Born In The USA is a rah-rah flag-waving patriotic song.

In a sense, it's sort of like Yellow Ledbetter... criticism of how war affects people. IMO, of course.

As Forrest Gump said at the Vietnam protest:
“Sometimes when people go to Vietnam, they go home to their mommas without any legs. Sometimes they don’t go home at all. That’s a bad thing. That’s all I have to say about that.”

There's an acoustic(?) version of Born In The USA where he only sings the anthemic chorus once and it hits totally different.

Born down in a dead man's town
The first kick I took was when I hit the ground
You end up like a dog that's been beat too much
'Til you spend half your life just coverin' up

Got in a little hometown jam
So they put a rifle in my hand
Sent me off to a foreign land
To go and kill the yellow man

Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man says, "Son if it was up to me"
Went down to see my V.A. man
He said, "Son, don't you understand"

I had a brother at Khe Sanh
    Fighting off the Viet Cong
They're still there, he's all gone
He had a woman he loved in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms now

Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I'm ten years burning down the road
Nowhere to run ain't got nowhere to go

Compare to what we think is:
Unsealed on a porch a letter sat
Then you said, I wanna leave it again
Once I saw her on a beach of weathered sand
And on the sand I wanna leave it again, yeah
On a weekend wanna wish it all away
And they called and I said that I want what I said
And then I call out again
And the reason, ought to leave her calm, I know
I said, I don't know whether I'm the boxer or the bag

Oh yeah, can you see them
    Out on the porch
    Yeah, but they don't wave
    I see them
    'Round the front way, yeah
And I know and I know I don't want to stay

    Make me cry

    I see
    I don't know, there's something else
I wanna drum it all away
Oh, I said, I don't, I don't know whether I'm the boxer or the bag

Oh yeah, can you see them
    Out on the porch
    Yeah but they don't wave
    I see them
    'Round the front way
And I know and I know I don't want to stay, oh
    I don't wanna stay
    I don't wanna stay
I don't wanna stay, oh, no
    Yeah

....then do yourself a favor and find the Yellow Ledbetter from:

I second this. It’s phenomenal. It has some of the best stage production, effects, and lighting I have ever seen. It would’ve been my favorite show of the year last year if it weren’t for PJ in Pittsburgh. I just saw it again last weekend in Newark (after Brooklyn last year) and it was amazing. Trent sounds great and the energy is amazing. If you haven’t been, go!

  • There’s been a few tours starting end of March, April and May announced in the past week. PJ doesn’t seem to be the only artist with “last minute” announcements. I wouldn’t be surprised with an August announcement for October. Or Jan 2027 for March 2027 like the original 2020
