    It’s a movie filmed before Charlton Heston’s Omega Man. Both, including Will Smith’s, are based on the classic novella, I Am Legend, by Richard Matheson.

    It’s a great novella. Search it out. It truly earns the title (won’t spoil it here).

    Matheson also wrote The Duel, the basis for Spielberg’s first film. Another good story.

    If I didn't know the director, I would bet it was a film by Guy Ritchie..

    Just this morning, oddly, on my instagram feed, the alternate ending to will smith’s I Am Legend was posted, and it changes the entire movie.
