hummus

Whenever I have "hummus" stuck in my head, I always want to sing out the "hummus" part (and I sometimes do so without even realizing it). So I'll just be sitting or standing wherever I am randomly yelling out "HUMMUS!", to the outsider's perspective. I've gotten some weird looks...

    I am probably wrong but...

I think it is more middle eastern like a spread made from chick peas?? does someone else know for sure?

I think you are thinking of Haggis (that is scottish) they sound the same but are very different.

seriously though, is it a PJ song? Where can I hear it?

It's not a "song" really; but it's a hidden track on yield; comes a couple minutes after "All Those Yesterdays".

It's kinda like some old Russian song. I'm not really sure "hummus" is what Ed is yelling; but thats what the board decided on.

Back in the day, you used to be able to find Chick Peas on a Salad Bar. Nowadays, you hardly every see Chick Peas.

You're absolutely correct, actually! Hummus is a wonderful spread made from chick peas that goes perfectly on a nice warm piece of pita bread. The best kind of hummus I've ever had is that Athenos black olive hummus.

Okay, I'm really hungry. I think I'll make myself some. :)

Does anyone else think the yield secret song had a bit of a hidden reference, namely the secret song on Nevermind, that many bootlegs have what sounds like Kurt singing 'Hummus' clearly?
