    Also a good point I read about, and I'll make one exception for Nick. You can plant yourself to not be fired if you were handling the play calling on one side of the ball OR you keep those playcallers long-term. If this carousel continues every time an OC comes in and out and they can't keep consistent results then that's an executive decision (head coach) problem.

    • He can't coach defense.
    • He can't call plays on offense.
    • He's supposed to be the "culture" guy but his #1 receiver was miserable all season (last season too if you remember).
    • Every coordinator who does well gets hired as a head coach.
    • Every coordinator who does badly gets fired.
    Yeah, it's kind of messy.
