    Maybe the Pope can help them get to the Big 5 title game next year.  They aren't going to be playing the Hawks in the pod so I guess their chances have increased :) .

    Opening day and night for the 2025-2026 season.  Think it's way too early for college basketball.  My Hawks should be good again this year.  Two really good transfers in the backcourt with Deuce Jones from LaSalle and Jaiden Glover-Toscano from St. John's.   Think they will end up similar to last year around 22 wins, 4th-6th in the league but the league is pretty good this year.

    Hate this era where I barely know who is on the other teams. I have no idea who Temple has and only know 3 or 4 nova players.  LaSalle has like 12 new players.   4 new coaches in the Big 5.  Adam Fisher is now the 2nd longest tenured coach in the big 5 behind Zach Spiker from Drexel.

    I heard rumors of multiple fights and bad behavior and same issues at LaSalle.  Better to have cut ties with him.

    IMO, Utah State got hosed in their seeding. All the talk was they would move to 6 or 7 with a win in the Mountain West tourney. Nope. I know nothing about Nova. Winner gets Arizona.

    Penn plays Illinois so they don't have much chance. But the Ivy championship game was a classic.  One of the best games of the weekend.

    true about losing to G-town. Forgot about that. I did see the highlights of the Ivy league championship. Definitely one of the better games of the weekend. Don't think either team will win their opening round game.

    Yes, that Penn Yale game was really good/entertaining. I caught the last 35 minutes or so.

    he was unbelievable but Yale can't let him get that last 3 off to tie.  I'm a foul instead of letting a guy take a 3, let alone a guy who was lighting them up all game.  At the very least deny Power the ball.

    Illinois is just going to be way too big for Penn.  I hope they can hang but I don't see it.

    I'm a foul and not let the other team get a 3 off too, especially with the clock winding down like it was.

    Penn will need to hit a shit load of 3's to have a chance.
