Very nice! I got some ginger growing for the first time this year too. It was lovely. The "fall crop" has not really turned up anything, I think it was too warm. Maybe something happens now that it is colder. It was a good but not stellar gardening season.

Always an experiment and each season has its quirks for sure.
Gave away a few bulbs of garlic to my coworkers to plant and I will plant about  15 cloves very soon for a July harvest.
Been adding chopped up leaves to my raised beds to build up the soil. Have a small amount of kale, Swiss chard and lettuce to harvest then will be finished til spring.

I'm on a turnip overload and not sure what I'll do with them.

Lou you have always been an inspiration to me. Now I'm pretty much house bound my gardening days are over . I love seeing your work to the end

Thanks Rob. Take care of yourself and won't take getting my hands dirty for granted.

I read somewhere that in days past people would carve turnips into jack-o-lanterns for Halloween. Maybe I'll do that.

A frost did hit my garden. First time I ate frosted dill right off the plant. Was very fresh and sweet. Like dill ice-cream.
