    Re-releases have already been released, therefore can not be the release of something from the vault, if it's already out of the vault.

    Full show with Jack on the drums.  '96 tour preferably :)

    Pretty sure we have seen the end of the Vault releases. Sad to say but I am not holding my breath for any more. 

    I would love to be wrong, though.

    They are obvious money makers, so I imagine they aren't done yet. They might start up again after they are done touring regularly.

    They will definitely do their fans a solid one by reissuing Benaroya Hall as their last hurrah for this Vault Series  (if it is indeed ending) in black vinyl and similar packaging in that series. OG release owners get to keep that rarity factor with their wine red vinyl (and packaging), while the rest of us will finally have the chance to own this on vinyl. Wishful thinking... Please 10C- make this happen...

    I've been hoping for this for a while. Heck, they could charge something "crazy" like $400 and donate the proceeds to YouthCare, aka the original beneficiary of the show.

    24 hours timed release with advance notice of the sale window and price so that people could be prepared.

    "Set your alarms for 10am PT on Jan 18th. It'll only be available for 24 hours. We'll print as many as we need to. You can buy any time before 10am PT on Jan 19th and be guaranteed as many copies as you order. It will cost $400 plus shipping. Proceeds to YouthCare. You'll be allowed to buy as many copies as you want, but only one copy per order. Again, if you order five copies, you'll be charged for five copies and be sent five copies. If you order one right away and another later in the day, you'll be charged for two and be sent two." (Spelled out very clearly because so many Pearl Jam fans won't read and think they'll need to be on exactly at that time to order.)

    Black vinyl. Vault packaging. No fancy numbering. Just standard vault packaging.

    A timed release would also keep the rarity factor of the OG copies.


    I think this would get the fans what they want AND honor the rarity of the originals WHILE hopefully not pissing people off who paid thousands on the resale market for a red copy with the fancy red artwork and hand-written numbering.

    It would devalue the original, but I don't have an issue with that.   When you repress something that is super limited, and people now have multiple avenues to get a copy, it would go down in value.  I don't really care if they do that.  I'd never sell my copy.  Maybe one day my Estate will have to deal with selling it, but by then, if I live a long life, the amount of PJ fans left wanting to buy it may have waned :)

    I'm not sure they'll ever reissue it, no matter what scenarios or loopholes people think up.  They were pretty adamant is was a limited thing when it first came out (and sold out in just under 48 hours).   They completely reserve the right to change their minds, but they might also just want to leave it the way it is.

    If we started getting vaults again, I'm still of the preference to release new things from the vault, not things that have already come out of the vault.    

    I really do hope we get some unreleased material in the future.

    Sad year. Hopefully next year they will release a new vault vinyl.
