A whole lot of good football played today. I enjoy the playoffs for allowing these weeks to not ruin the season for teams in Sept.

I’m undecided on 4 vs. 12 (soon to be 16). It probably wasn’t fair that an early, tough conference loss could ruin your season but it definitely raised the stakes.

Yeah I'm in the same boat.
I love the playoff but it kinda sucks to have teams shit out 2x and still have a shot.  I prefer it to be really hard to make playoffs.  1 loss should generally be the cap.

Reality is 2 games and you can still be fine.

Some great games yesterday.   Oregon with a big win and USC shows more of the same as last yr....lose games when leading late.

Definitely a coaching issue at this point.  They lost a tough one to Oregon, but the season wasn't over.  Everything was still in front of them, but now it's all different.  Little Game James at it again.

LMAO @ James Franklin! I was always indifferent to Penn State. But ever since he tried to "little bro" Marcus Freeman in January, he has made me rejoice in the fact he hasn't won against a P4 team since.

From what I read, a Sports Illustrated article notes that Penn State is the first team in college football history to lose two consecutive games in which it was favored 20+ points.  I'm not trying to pile on PSU, it is my favorite college football team, but it is what it is.  Even as a fan, they should have never been ranked #2 to start the year. That was fraudulent.
  • Exactly how I clap.

I also saw PSU is 2-2 as a 20+ point favorite. The rest of the country is 67-0.

I think that $49 million was the ONLY reason he wasn't fired sooner.
