I was wrapping my brain then if finally came to me.
Anxiously waiting to see if tempo is just learning now that it's racking (or wracking), and not wrapping, and that he's been saying it wrong all his life.

I never meant to use that term, I literally wanted to "wrap my brain" around the idea. I don't play pool so I'm not racking anything, lol. Encompass my brain around it. I used the term the way I wanted.
If I said "Wrap my mind around it" would that have been better? Brain and mind aren't interchangeable now?
And the Boomer comment was to show that people are stuck with the old and won't accept anything deviating from that.
Ok I'm done.

Yes, wrap my mind around it is correct. "Wrapping my brain" is wholly incorrect and doesn't make any sense, while "racking my brain" is a very well-known and accepted term across the board in all cases in the present day, and that's final, hahaha. And tbh, I think you just thought it was wrapping instead of racking all this time, and are now trying to make it okay.
Using correct wording instead of incorrect is not being stuck with the old in my book, sonny.                         Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
