how does one wrap their brain?

Anxiously waiting to see if tempo is just learning now that it's racking (or wracking), and not wrapping, and that he's been saying it wrong all his life.
No I meant wrap.  You wrap your brain around the thought. It’s accepted too now you boomer.
the saying is either wrap your head around something, or racking/wracking your brain. never heard wrapping your brain. and we're gen x.
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer

    I'm doubling down here.

I never meant to use that term, I literally wanted to "wrap my brain" around the idea. I don't play pool so I'm not racking anything, lol. Encompass my brain around it.  I used the term the way I wanted.

If I said "Wrap my mind around it" would that have been better? Brain and mind aren't interchangeable now?

And the Boomer comment was to show that people are stuck with the old and won't accept anything deviating from that.

    Ok I'm done. :)

I'm gonna double down too. This is a mountain I'm willing to die on. Yes, wrap my mind around it is correct. "Wrapping my brain" is wholly incorrect and doesn't make any sense, while "racking my brain" is a very well-known and accepted term across the board in all cases in the present day, and that's final, hahaha. And tbh, I think you just thought it was wrapping instead of racking all this time, and are now trying to make it okay. Using correct wording instead of incorrect is not being stuck with the old in my book, sonny.

No. Wrap my brain is what I meant. Not rack.  I explained what I meant. If you can wrap your head and mind then you can wrap your brain around it too.

I don't care what they say.  I meant to say Wrap my brain. F them and their oxford commas.

I did think they were talking about a pool rack and NOT the medieval torture thingy, lol!
