I watched some of it, then I gave up. I'm not that big of a Devo fan to sit through the whole doc... Respect for those dudes, they lived and created

Getting ready to watch Commando on 35mm with actor Bill Duke in attendance for a Q & A!

So, not in 35 mm, but no worries. Had not seen the movie in awhile. Super fun crowd to watch it with, Bill Duke watching in the front row! Huge applause for him anytime he got on screen.  This movie is so 80s action. The title sequence was almost like a sitcom of Arnold and Alyssa Milano. So funny. And Rae Dawn Chong with the rocket launcher is so funny!

Some fun stories from him afterwards. Turns out he lives in Atlanta now with his kids and grandkids. Who knew?

Fun time at the movies, and only $20!

    Sinners (2025)
Pretty kick ass movie. Music was fantastic! Kinda reminded me of "From Dusk til Dawn" or some Tarantino movie like that. Michael B. Jordon reminded me a lot of Denzel Washington (like during his Training Day era) during it.

Really enjoyed this last week. Music was wicked.

  • Thought this was lacking in energy and vibes. Had the perfect film-version of New York. But needed some 25th Hour-Spike Lee energy or inspired Guy Richie flair.

I also think it lost all momentum and life when

    the girlfriend died

Not to "curse in church" as we say here in Sweden, but would actually like to see Jaws in 3D. But those screenings are only in the states. 3D or a nice 35mm print would be nice. Haven't seen it in years.

Working Girl on 35mm tonight if I can make it. Might catch the last showing of Wes Andersons latest after that... last day of my movietheatre subscription thing.

it started out ok enough. The ending just devolved into stupidity when the antagonist is revealed.
