Besides being our current vice president, JD Vance is a very interesting man, with a very inspiring story to tell.
JD (James David) Vance was born in Ohio, and he certainly did not come from a privileged background.
In fact, he grew up in an impoverished and broken family, and he and his sister were raised primarily by their grandparents.
If you're interested, you can read his memoir "Hillbilly Elegy", or watch the film adaptation.
