YES!! Anytime one of my kids gets hurt or sad and cries, I hold her and sing, "It's ok, it's ok... you know I love you anyway..."

awesome version from jones beach! i somehow figured out how to capture a still shot from the dvd and have a picture of ed's silhouette on the back drop with the green lighting, while he was bouncing up and down, tacked up at my desk. Great way to help you through one of those crazy and out of control days.

Eddie makes the song sound so much better, even though he is reading the lyrics from a piece of paper!!! Great Improvisation. Eddie is a real entertainer.
  • This song elevates my spirit every time I hear it...the Touring Band version is so cool...I was expecting this one to be played with all the lyrics in the argentinian`s shows, but eddie chose to make improvisation with it...anyway, it´s ok...:D

When I saw the video of Pearl Jam doing that song in Spanish in Mexico (?)my already high respect for the band just skyrocketed. It makes good sense to speak/sing the language of the country you are in, but, you know what, it's just plain ol' nice. That really affected me when I saw that video more than any other Pearl Jam video/movie. It affected me almost as much as ARC always does. How incredibly beautiful! How incredibly incredibly beautiful!

i've always loved it's okay, the way Eddie sings it is so soothing. But i've always wondered how the original sounds.

Yeah I keep meaning to find the original and listen to it. Someone posted on here that it's supposed to be quite good.
