    Even Mark Buehrle couldn't pitch that fast and he was always known for working quickly.

    I did....and it sucked. But I understand what happened. For ballplayers, they typically run the base in the same amount of steps. Thus, typically stepping on the bag with the same foot. Something most people don't think about. It's the same as when a person walks up/down a flight of stairs amd they lead with the same foot. On this play, I think he was trying to save a step because timing was so critical. In doing so, it altered the way he ran the stride was obviously off. VERY savvy baseball move if the stride is just a bit longer. But over stride, and you step flat footed on top (not the corner) of the bag and your foot could slide across it causing a messed up hammy or knee.

    But it did suck because I was hooting and hollering when I thought he was safe as it happened live.
