My son's words this morning " I have so many plans. I'm not going to die yet! F@#king tumor!" He just found out what happened and this was his response.
I fuckin love it!!! this made me so happy. Strong spirit and words, perfect way to start my day.

Update: today he had an angiogram to look at the blood vessels in his brain to see if there were any abnormalities. They said everything looked good but there was a little blood flowing from something to something...I can't exactly recall...so much information. Please forgive me I'm trying to keep up. Its been a lot. They will need to do another angiogram in a few weeks to keep an eye on it.They said he is not going to be going home for quite a bit but may be leaving the icu sometime this week. He's having a hard time keeping anything down but we are working on it slowly.
I'm a PT... he'll be going through rehab when stable. But it sounds like he has that fighting attitude that he'll need to recover. You are doing a great job....
Since the last post he's had his drain removed from the top of his head. He was able to get out of bed for the first time and take a few steps.
Pathology came back and he had Pilocytic Astrocytoma. It's benign. His prognosis is great for a full recovery and no recurrence. He now just needs time to recover.
Thank you to all of my old friends for hopping on here to send positive thoughts . To the new names, thank you for sending kind thoughts his way.
Kat and Sea you can close this now. Thank you to all of you for holding my hand when I needed it.
I know it's probably inappropriate but I'm posting pictures of his battle scars.

Great news. He'll have a bit of a recovery to deal with, but this will just be a blip on the radar in time.
