    I think something can be said people tolerating him.

    But did you hear that game when SF won? You could have sworn he was the Giants announcer. When my back is turned sometimes, and I just hear his voice when stuff like this happens you'd think he was talking about the Phils.

    I think Gig is worst on that list but that DM is best on the list, even if we just take the top 4-5 songs vs everything else.

    actually i didn't/ I was in bed by the time the game was over.

    Hopefully they can take 2 out of 3 against San Diego heading into the all-star break.

    Just watched those inside park videos. I remembered those but, yeah, pretty crazy how they were "walk offs." For some reason I didn't remember them as being walk offs.

    That Dernier video, especially, is a thing of beauty. Good ol' Video Dan Stephenson always found ways to make even some of the worst Phillies teams seem like all time greats. The slow-motion shots of Leyva in the bullpen? hahaha.....so dramatic!



    Also.....now I hate Tom McCarthy even more. Guess he's always cursed to follow Harry but, my god, he is just absolutely nothing compared to HK. Paling in comparison to his counterpart on the radio never helps his cause as well.

    I actually think McCarthy is decent at football and hoops, so not a deliberate bashing session. He's just always been terrible at being the Phils' play by play.

    I remember the Bob Dernier one more-so than the Abreu one. The Dernier one was one of my fav HK calls. Also one of the few highlights from the '89 season. Also had that '89 Phillies season VHS tape :lol: (I think I had the one before or after it also).
