    Mesa Verde NP in Colorado.
I love Mesa Verde. The cliff dwellings are incredible.

Totally agree! Was very impressed by the park and it over delivered on my enjoyment. $5 a tour for these dwellings felt like a steal!

I don't know how I missed this thread last year. I started a NP thread a few years back and it seemed to garner little interest. National Parks are among my favorite things! 23 down and 2 new ones in September! I will return to this thread soon...

Hiking the Narrows at Zion NP Utah.  I have to admit I have never walked through a river much less hiked a long one.  It was so amazing

Wow! So jealous. I hiked the Narrows two summers ago. Bucket list activity. It was stunning. I hiked to the start of the Angle’s Landing hike where you need the permit, but alas did not have one. Amazing park.

Wish we’d spent more time in Zion when we road tripped Nevada, Arizona, Utah and into California many moons ago. 2 weeks or so and way too much to cover looking back. We visited Vegas, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, lake Powell, Zion and Death Valley in that time. The exuberance of youth and travelling outside of Europe for the first time. We did the Emerald Pools Trail and it was gorgeous. Maybe we’ll make it back someday.
