All our dinners were extraordinary in Siena. And everywhere else too.Cliffy6745 said:
Dude, Siena is my absolute favorite. Such a great town. Big enough for things to do in town, not overwhelming like Florence (agreed on getting out of dodge), easy to do things around Tuscany. I need to get back. Had one of my favorite dinners ever in Siena,Johnny Abruzzo said:
We also stayed in Siena. We were practically crying when we left. It was just incredible. Perfect for doing stuff all day or as a base for day trips. Phenomenal restaurants everywhere. When I've stayed in Florence, by the end I felt like I was getting out of Dodge.Cliffy6745 said:
Incredible. I have two close friends in Italy as we speak and another going in a couple weeks. Major FOMO. Planning on taking the family to Europe in the Spring, my daughter's first time. Still need to figure out where the hell to go, ideally somewhere we haven't been, but pretty excited to get back. Haven't since my daughter was born in 2018Johnny Abruzzo said:Back from Italy. Here's a shot from Sulmona, Abruzzo. Also I helped make arrosticini at my cousin's house, the signature food of Abruzzo. Except in Giulianova it's called "rustell" - nothing is easy speaking Italian. Anyway, it's the best fucking thing I've ever eaten.

FYI you can watch the Palio at 1:30 eastern time today. Postponed from yesterday.

Agree Wheeler should start, but pitching invitations, not to mention starts, are mysteries in ASGs.The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -

Pretty sure he's been talking the last few years that he was over the 3+ hour shows.
Here's to a Jack reunion every once in a while.0 -

I saw the video too and I agree that they knew, and he probably told the rest of the band his intentions to hang it up with PJ.pjhawks said:
Yes, it will be interesting what they will do.
How long do we think it will be until the band announces what they plan to do?0 -

With this band I imagine they go into the studio with a drummer and never announce it until a record is ready to come out. They are usually pretty secretive. I also think it's real possibility they just use a 'touring' drummer and don't really add a new member. After Pittsburgh I figured the earliest they'd do shows would be spring 2027 so I don't expect any news anytime in the near future.cutz said:

Romano needs to be shit canned.
And my god Tom McCarthy is terrible.0 -
Went back and listened to the entire Matt Cameron portion of the PJ catalogue last couple days. Man, is Lightning Bolt such a forgettable record. Like 2 or 3 kind of decent songs and that's about it. I'm usually of the opinion that any PJ album is better than most other music out there today but that is just not good.
Backspacer....better than LB. That's it. Sounded great live at the Spectrum though.
Binaural, Riot Act and Avocado all solid records and hold up well.
Gigaton---better than LB and Backspacer. A step back in the right direction.
Dark Matter----only been a year and a half, feels longer but I think this has and will continue to hold up really fucking well. Strong case to be made that he pulled a Costanza and went off on a high note. Still love this record.
Guess it's gonna Josh? Assuming he's not in prison?
Would love for it to be Jack but I guess they need a younger buck who can handle the touring more. Here's to hoping the songs are slowed down a notch or two.www.myspace.com0 -

He remains the absolute worst. I despise him more with each game. Probably only have another 20 or 30 years to put up with him though.Jearlpam0925 said:Romano needs to be shit canned.

gigaton is rock bottom. the last 4 are all nothing special, but I would go:

take the best of all four and it still wouldn’t beat any prior album. If I had known then what I know now...
