Semantics, really. When I compared it to Benny, I wasn't comparing the style, I was comparing the uniqueness.

Quasi acoustic, reimagined catacombs style, crooner, etc. potayto potahto. Whatever you call it, I would love to be there.
Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall after a very restful summer exploring the Great Canadian Wilderness and beaches, listening to Pearl Jam, Headstones, Watchmen, Queens of the Stone Age, and many others.

In my absence, please refer to the following for any reasoned debate on any given matter (please note this list is not exhaustive):

Don’t get me wrong. I’ll be watching ticket prices daily and if the price point hits I’ll be purchasing.

The sound and amplification have to suit a theater so I think they'll inevitably expand on what they did in the Catacombs. It's not like they're playing the back room of a pub.

Was over 18,000 in the queue for Beacon. When I got in there was one decent pair of center lower balcony but another fan beat me to it. I will try again at another of the many sales they have coming up.

    TM is fucked.

I joined the queue for Boston @ 10:01 under my wife's TM account & there's still 18K+ in front of me.

I joined the queue for Boston under my account after securing my Beacon tickets around 10:10 & there's 5K in front of me.

    WTAF
Without serious fuckery of some kind, 18k+ buyers in queue should be more than enough to sell 3k tickets and yet...

I wish I took screenshots... I didn't explain this well and it's even more f'ed then I described.

I was logged into my TM account on my work PC, and got in the queue for NYC at 10:00 on the nose.

I got in the queue for Boston around 10:01 through my wife's TM account on my phone, at which point there was somewhere around 22K people in front of me.

Once I secured my tickets for NYC around 10:10, I then joined the Boston queue w/ my account on my PC... at this point, there was still 18K in front of the request from 10:01 on my phone, but on my PC, when I joined at 10:10, there was only 5K in front of me.

Somehow the request I put in on my PC at 10:10 jumped ahead of my request on my phone from 10:01 by 13K people.

Maybe it was a glitch, but after what I saw w/ the NIN on sale, I can't help but think the fuckery w/ TM is at an all time high.

Was this for the Detroit show? That’s a great price and I’m shocked at how many tickets are still available for that venue, on a Friday night.

I struck out again today for the Beacon. I was over 11,000 in the queue. The resale market is not too bad. I will likely wait until closer to the show to see what pops up.

I’ve been following this thread the past week or two. Getting back into spinning some QotSA. Starting with In Times New Roman, I might work backwards rediscovering their albums back to front.

Yes. And I swore myself to not look again but maybe I should and get some better tickets... (edit - just looked and how do you all see tickets available? I don't because there's still the public sale coming tomorrow.)

A month off between the NE dates and the west coast seems odd... granted, it's not a normal tour, but that much time in between is curious.

Could possibly be that's when they go over to Europe for a couple weeks for the Catacombs dates they say are TBA.
