    Very good.

Remembering the US remake (Quarantine) being okey too.

Serial Killer Horror (Germany, 2019) -  based on a book and a true story.
A kind of time capsule - the recreation of the place and the 1970s is great. The cast and the acting are brilliant and easily a major part of the attraction.
All of the old music is the only fun here.
This can’t be made for everyone. Too much of whatever / over and out within the first 10-15 minutes is possible. Or immediately hooked by real & raw and the hellish authenticity.

Sounds like a sign of quality :)
Martyrs deserved my „favorite“ exactly because of it‘s disturbing freakiness.

    from New Zealand 2006

I watched it without knowing what type of horror it will deliver. The chaos and danger can reach you even in safety in front of the screen at home, when the hell breaks loose here.

Not much of a horror fan, but I will watch John Carpenter's The Thing each and every time it's on, even though I have it on DVD. lol

Oh man. I just watched this. I found it INCREDIBLY annoying, more and more so as it progressed. I don't like not being able to see much of anything and not knowing wtf is really happening when I watch movies.

Thinking about RAVENOUS (1999) today. Absolute ripper of a film.

Caught it in theaters. Shades of something really cool but ultimately frustrating. I thought it relied too heavily on the audience to do the heavy lifting. Not enough on screen triggers to send your imagination running, which Blair Witch Project excels in. Still, some nice moments and inventive visual techniques.

Not a movie, but the first episode for Alien: Earth screened at Comic Con and the reactions are looking to be pretty amazing so far. Sounds like the best of Alien, with great action, a story with rich themes to dig into, and a feeling of unpredictability!

    Can’t wait!
