My parents bought me an original pressing of Vitalogy sealed. Had to crack it open and play side 1. Sounded amazing!! Now I’m going to clean it and play side two later

Of all the PJ albums, this is the one where the original is SO much better than the shitty reissue, that the reissue is basically just garbage in comparison. I remember getting the reissue to just kinda save my original from too much play, and after one spin, I gave the reissue away for free, in disgust.

paid up off discogs for a near mint og a few years ago. my fave record containing their best song.

Good to know. I have a sealed original I bought a few years ago. Time to crack that baby open. I did that with my sealed VS. It was also so much better than the reissue. But when the 1/2 speed came out I started playing that one more to preserve the original. That one is pretty good.

Whatd u pay for that chapman record?  They haven't reissued it for what I can remember so only OG's.
They actually reissued it a couple months ago! I just picked it up as it was on Amazon’s “buy one get one 50% off” sale on select LPs. The sale is no longer going on, but it’s in stock for $25.
It's about time they reissued this.  TY!

Oh how does it sound?  I'll buy the OG if the sound quality is bad.

PJ is dead on with the Vitalogy criticism.  The reissue is dull and lifeless.  The same is true for the Sony reissue of Vs. That really sucked.  However I find the 2x45 much better.  The original is good too.

I remember them now but they were forgotten for a bit, lol. I remember being excited about Yankee Rose when he had the Bissonetts and Steve Vai in the band briefly.

My sister had that album. I think it is still somewhere at my parent’s house.

Kevin Gray cut.  Amazing analog sound.  This was the Blues for Allah release party for journalists and friends.

Found this guy for $5.  Forgot what a great record this is, with a ton of hits.  A little bit noisy so will need to see the RCM.
