    I'm sure everyone has their own interp. of this song... but to me this is a love song (about a two people) and the light referred to is God (heaven, spirituality, or the ablity to transcend this life, whatever one prefers) showing a path in life (a small low light ahead of you)... I think this is the deepest of all the PJ songs.

    I also love the lines...

    "can't wear my mask, your first, my last" and "books and jealousy tell me wrong"

    Lastly, another good line is from light years is...

    I also like present tense, "Do you see the way that tree bends, does it inspire? Leaning now to catch the suns rays, a lesson to be applied". Again, beautiful, and one of their most underappreciated songs, me thinks.
