The movie seems to start at 8 and is 105 minutes. Figure Ed would go on around 945-10 if there is no talk. Maybe play for a half hour to an hour and end around 1030-11 is what I would expect. Maybe 5-10 songs at a best case? 3-5 as a "worst"? Seems like a small venue, but paying $1500 plus for a couple of tunes seems like crazy town to me.

Someone bought the $760 or the seller pulled it.

    Good to know.
All the more reason not to pay 1300$!

I have attended a few screenings in the festival.  The films start on time, and the post-film activity has been 15-30 minutes. The festival is very schedule-conscious, and they clear the theaters as soon as the performance is over.  (I was surprised at how many people walked out before and during the post-screening event, but many had a professional connection to the film.)

At "Boy George & Culture Club," two band members spoke in a Q&A that included audience questions.  At Billy Idol Should Be Dead, Billy Idol introduced the film, and after the film, he and Steve Stevens performed Eyes Without a Face, White Wedding, Rebel Yell and a newly-released song.

Also, there may be an event for festival sponsors and patrons before or after the screening at the venue.  I almost wandered into the Depeche Mode after-party after its premiere, because I was looking for another film there.

That sounds about right. I went to the Metallica one tonight. After the film the band came out to talk about the film. They were on stage for about 30 minutes.

This is really helpful! Thanks for the info. Were either of your events at the Indeed Theater? Anything you can share about the venue?

Neither was at the Indeed Theater, and I couldn't get a ticket for tonight. I'll see A Matter of Time at the Angelika and hope that Eddie makes a surprise appearance, like he did that at the 2nd showing of PJ20 at TIFF.

I did find a photo of the Indeed Theater from the 2023 festival.  It bills itself as an event and performance space, so this would align.

If anyone wants to come down the rush line is only about 5 people at the moment. Can’t speak for this show but at Metallica last night everyone in the rush line got in. Worth a shot if you really want to go!

Can you or GlowGirl please ask when we plan for new PJ dates. Let him know we need it! 😁

I attended yesterday's screening.  Olivia Vedder introduced the film.  After, she, the producer, director, a doctor in the film, and the foundation head did a 20-minute Q&A,

That is great. The Angelika is right up the street from me. I walked by it last night on my way to somewhere else, but wasn’t sure of the timing.

Man I miss the Angelika. Was my go to theater for years. Lived in Soho and Nolita, so just a short walk from me.

It’s a different one than the one on Houston. That one is really cool. But you can always feel the subway rumbling under your seat. This one is the theater on 12th Street and 2nd Ave. it used to be the Village East theater but Angelika took it over. So now it is the Village East by Angelika. So people also call it Angelika.

Oh interesting, wasn’t aware of that one!
