I'll be sure to post some pics when it lands.artforbw said:According to ebay sales history, the last AP of this print was sold on June 6, so I don't think so.Washington, DC June 14, 1998 * Baltimore, MD September 12, 2024 * Pittsburgh, PA May 16, 2025 * Pittsburgh, PA May 18, 20250 -
I’ve politely messaged artists a bunch of time asking if they have any left over copies of a poster available. Sometimes I’ve sent these inquiries years after a poster sold out. And I’ve managed to score some great posters at really reasonable prices. Most times I don’t get any answer at all and that’s fine. But I’ve never received an annoyed reply from an artist or been told I’m bothering them. They all have “contact” information posted on their sites for a reason.artforbw said:Don't message/email an artist asking for preferential treatment, by asking if you can buy a sold out poster in case of a cancelled order, after missing on a drop. It's not cool.
Artists get inundated all of the time with emails from people asking to be put on a list to buy a sold out poster.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20 -
Make that at least two that went to people!ZoSoTim said:Thank you both. I’m even more shocked now that Brad said it sold out in under 20 seconds. At least one went to a person instead of a bot. And this one will never be for sale as long as I am alive.Although I will say, after reading the struggles people had submitting TM requests or figuring out how to access their tix for the last tour I’m not quite convinced the fan base could figure out how to use a bot or how to even procure one.Pittsburgh, PA September 28, 2005 || Washington, DC June 22, 2008 || Barstow, VA May 13, 2010 || Seattle, WA August 10, 2018 || Dana Point, CA September 29, 2018 (EV) || Dana Point, CA September 28, 2019 (EV) || Dana Point, CA September 25, 2021 (EV) || Dana Point, CA October 1, 2021 || Dana Point, CA October 2, 2021 || Chicago, IL August 29, 2024 || Pittsburgh, PA May 16, 2025 || Pittsburgh, PA May 18, 20250 -
Like many I got shut out. Angry? No. Disappointed , yes. I was able to cart four or five times, but lost it as soon as I got to the payment page.
Anytime I try a purchase like this, I always use my desktop. Phone is always the last option. When I was in Pittsburgh, I tried to purchase tickets to the Clemente Museum and my phone wouldn't work. It was a similar looking interface as what Brad had. Obviously I didn't have my desktop, but my wife's tablet did.0 -
I think Brad K is a class act. Big fan of his work but also I have to say the way he carries himself, on here and in a couple of previous email exchanges I've had with him over purchases I've made, is refreshing and admirable. Always seems to want to do the best for his clients and tor the fanbase - honestly & with integrity. Can be tough sometimes to balance doing right by your clients and by your business/self. Usually doing one brings the other but not everybody gets that and works that way.
Also, as someone working in the IT industry, I get how relying on third-party platforms doesn't always work perfectly the way you hope it will....Finsbury Park '92 | Brixton 1 '93 | Wembley 2 '96 | Wembley 1&2 '00 | Reading, Paris '06 | Munich, Wembley '07 | Shepherds Bush, Berlin, Manchester, London '09 | Dublin, Belfast, Hyde Park '10 | Manchester 1&2, Amsterdam 1, Copenhagen, Atlanta '12 | Brooklyn 2, Philly 1&2, LA 1&2 '13 | Amsterdam 1&2, Vienna, Berlin '14 | Central Park, Santiago, Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City '15 | Quebec, Ottawa, Toronto 1&2, Wrigley 1&2 '16 | London 1, Prague, Krakow, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, London 2, Fenway 2 '18 | Oakland 1&2, Berlin, Zurich, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, London 1&2, Budapest, Krakow, Amsterdam '22 | St. Paul 1&2, Chicago 1&2 '23 |0 -
Totally agree! Brad has gone above and beyond. It can be so hard to judge what demand will be. There's only so many prints available. I was surprised there were even any left after the Color Haiku event. All eyes are on the SE drop. Thanks again Brad!TheMookster said:I think Brad K is a class act. Brad coming on here to explain things goes a long way in my book. Most artists would never dream of doing that. Much respect to him. Doesn’t hurt that he creates a lot of beautiful posters that are in high demand.Dallas, TX (November 15, 2013)

He's always been a real one, and to your point emphasizes that.ZoSoTim said:Brad coming on here to explain things goes a long way in my book. Most artists would never dream of doing that. Nope. Brad's site wasn't able to process Google Pay payments yesterday so it's all good. Will try my chance with 10Club in the days ahead.0 -
Mail innovations/ my Atlanta 2 poster was in my town on Long Island a few days ago, now it’s in New Jersey… how is this even saving ups/usps $$ or efficient? Service keeps getting worse0

Brad understands what people like in a PJ poster and puts in the time to interact with the fans of the band and the poster art. A lot of flops on this tour (in the overall sense) with new artists for PJ posters. Anyone know what the proportion of new artists was to those who have done PJ posters before.0

artforbw said:You definitely should. Something similar to me happened with a Zoltron print once. He accidentally posted the price too low on his site, and then contacted me and asked if I'd pay the additional amount, and I did so without hesitation.
Even $150 is a very generous price for this print, given the demand.
