I'm starting to wonder if Musk's participation in the campaign was coerced by a trump threat. It just doesn't make sense for Musk to change his stance on trump, campaign for him, be the Doge guy, then leave in a ball of fire.
I guess it's also possible that Musk thought he would be able to get more funding from trump than Harris and when that dried up he starting wrecking things on the way out.

Agreed. although the really interesting thing about it all is that all of what Musk is now saying about Trump is true, lol. The fact that he didn't care about any of it until his ego was hurt is obviously telling, but man, did Trump ever make a mistake trusting him for any amount of time.
