    I think as time passes and the newness of the DM songs wear off, Setting Sun will still hold it's impact on me. Nothing on Gigaton or LB has done that.

    Can’t wait to hear the Raleigh 2 boot.  Still can’t believe we got it as an opener that night.

    Immortality is not the closing sing though, it might be where you turn the album off, so do I. But it’s not the closer, Stupid Mop is. That is how the band intended the album to close: I’ll die on that hill.
    Im not fuckin playing stupid mop before Bed...are you crazy? I made the playlist, to ease into bed....not Have Satan in the room with me ;)

    Spent the day in & around NYC with some college friends who are a part of my PJ history.

    In 1995, I "borrowed" Cheryl's Vs. cassette when I saw the stamp that said "Five Against One". I still have it.

    28 years later, I stayed at her house for the ill-fated Noblesville show.

    Lots of driving yesterday, and we listened to Dark Matter a couple of times all the way through, and discussed it.

    It was so, so great to show them, and for them to hear themselves, all these years later, the band is still making GREAT music, and that, even after 34 years, we can still be gifted with a song like Setting Sun.

    Cheers to the other two guys in Section 112 that night in Pittsburgh who matched my singing volume
    and energy for the best song in almost 20 years.

    Vegas 1 still takes the cake for me. Ed’s singing is absolutely perfect. Stone’s guitar for the second half is absolutely perfect. My voice going “yeaaaahhhh!!!” After the final “let us not fade” is absolutely perfect 😂
