I'm starting to wonder if Musk's participation in the campaign was coerced by a trump threat. It just doesn't make sense for Musk to change his stance on trump, campaign for him, be the Doge guy, then leave in a ball of fire.

I guess it's also possible that Musk thought he would be able to get more funding from trump than Harris and when that dried up he starting wrecking things on the way out.

Regardless...what a fucking bizarre position for our dumbass president to put this country in.
So heres why.  All the DOGE cuts he made aren't in that Big Beautiful Bill.  Everything DOGE did will be brought back because Congress has to approve those cuts.  Instead they weren't in the bill and the spending is going up and raising the National Debt.  Musk is calling Trump out on his bullshit.
There’s a difference between calling him out and the two having a hissy fit back and forth. It’s pretty embarrassing to watch and they both look so incredibly stupid right now.

that the big stupid bill is gonna pass with more medicare and medicaid cuts and more tax cuts for the wealthy.

trump and musk have the same interests so this fight is staged and stupid and everyone is falling for it.
Both of their egos are too big to allow the other one to call them names and be okay with it as part of a plan.
that is what happens when the stupidest person alive is president and has to constantly be on social media seeking validation. i prefer a president that shuts up and does the job like an adult.

also one that does not allow the richest man alive to grift off of the public.

Not just now. But I think the history between the 2 brings a new level of embarrassment.
The fact that they had hard-one for each other and within hours and so deeply involved with each other turns into this. It’s not the usual name calling of those that never supported you.

For Musk to campaign and celebrate the way he did, then turn around and say he should be impeached and is on the Epstein files, or trump praising and appointing him to doge, then come out and call him a nazi is a new level of social media temper tantrum then we’ve seen.

With the talk that he’s a Nazi and that he’s railroading schools and immigrants , the people don’t seem all that concerned. Historically for him, these are not exactly bad numbers.

why? Cause the other side is not giving people any options. When Democrats think a centrist is Maga, a serious problem exists.

Because you seem to always make it about you, its not that a centrist is MAGA, its that you are hung up on the false equivalency of extreme right and left, to say nothing of the Democrat and Republican parties.

Earlier speculation was that government cuts to programs that help red state voters will eventually lead many people who voted for 47 to regret their vote.  That's wishful thinking at best.  The vast majority of people who voted or 47 will blame Biden or democrats in general for their problems.  Same with people who hate all things Democratic party because of its imperfections.  Instead of recognizing that democracy is at it's core beneficial to a greater number of people and being critical of what doesn't work well in the democratic party and work to make improvements to that party, they throw their support to a dictator who will only make their lives worse, not better.  But they will still blame democrats.  It's damn near impossible to get people with such blinders to do what make sense which is to strengthen democracy rather than to kill it.

The question is, does anyone really regret their vote? I’m guessing it’s few and far between.

It's damn near impossible to get people with such blinders to do what make sense which is to strengthen democracy rather than to kill it.
yeah trump is trying to take things away from people, give tax breaks to the hunderd or so billionaires in the country, and then maga blames the democrats for letting him do it. all the while maga worships trump and thanks him for hurting them. its like stockholm syndrome on a massive scale.
