I like Oasis, had a great time at the ‘08 show in Vancouver. It was only half full, as their 15 was long done everywhere outside of the UK. This needs to be a one-off, and slip away quietly. I imagine thats what will happen…….
The Guns and Roses reunion tour has been going on for 7 years at football stadiums. Oasis is sold out in Tokyo, Sao Paolo, and CDMX, so the mountains of cash will continue.
Guns are playing to smaller and smaller audiences, so hopefully they go away soon. Look at the Wembley ticket sales, upper deck is almost all available, and the show is right around the corner. Enough is enough, its been 9 years…..
Oasis is just riding high on the crest of a reunion wave, once the wave breaks, so will they.
Didn’t realize GNR were playing this year. Saw them in 2023. Was pretty enjoyable tbh.
I enjoyed seeing them in ‘21 also, but wouldn’t go again. It does seem the reunion has likely run it’s course, on a large scale and at the prices they charge at least. Here in Detroit they’ve played the football stadium, arena and baseball stadium. I was at the Comerica Park show and it was embarrassing how empty it was. Granted it was the first major event post-pandemic in town, but still they had less than 20,000 people (capacity around 45,000), the pit was maybe 7-8 rows deep in the middle and no one past the side of the stage, the upper deck was empty and lower deck was maybe half full. And Green Day/Weezer a couple days later at the same place was a sellout, so can’t blame leftover Covid fears.

not expecting any answer but why not try?
any hope for Ed+Earthlings in Europe 2026 ?
Surely too early to tell. If previous years are anything to go by it’s usually in the Autumn, around the time of Ohana, when rumours for the following year start to emerge.

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.
I always wondered why JA hasn’t done a solo tour for his albums he has some great stuff. I feel like he could put a backing band together just as quick as EV has done.
He doesn’t love touring, and let’s be honest, other than EV these guys aren’t exactly packing venues. When RNDM toured there were a couple hundred people at the shows.
Didn't RNDM go on Conan's Tonight Show? I swear I saw them on one of the late-night shows.
Brad opened for Band of Horses in 2010 and they were probably one of the biggest side projects past 1999...not that there's been many not involving Jeff.

I would probably see them one more time but not if any travel is involved.

I’m really into his solo albums. While my heart beats is one of my favourite albums and to hear some of those tracks live would be great. Heaven/Hell is also great, some fantastic bass lines on that album especially on the track, the door.

This is far too much for where they are now. They are not going to do a 20-25 shows tour a year. No way. And not without a new album. We're much likelier to see more of what we just experienced: 10 shows tops over 5-6 cities.

I’m going to disagree. They need to hit up South America and Europe. There’s no way they don’t play two more US legs. No album, won’t matter. We’re pretending they’re elderly, they’re not.

I'm not saying they're elderly. They are most certainly not. But at this stage, they would rather avoid long tours. It's a grind, if get it. We're more likely to see short runs like 2023 & 2025 in the near-ish future, if that. If they do a few dates in Europe next year, that might be it for 2026.

That was, as Ed said, the Dark Matter era. And it's over.
I think the US is in for a couple years that look like 2011/12. Maybe a couple one offs or festivals but I doubt US gets another leg until a new record is out, unless it’s a Lightning Bolt-Gigaton timeframe until the next release.
By PJs standards they’ve toured the shit out of America since Covid.
I think South America, Europe and maybe Canada get shows before the States do. I do think PJ is off the road until at least Sept 2026 though. Hoping it’s not a full 24 months until the next tour. - South America was rumoured a couple times and didn’t happen so I could see 2026 looking like 2015; one leg only in SA. PJ seems to play there either in March or November. Either time frame makes sense for 2026. - Next EU/UK tour I’m guessing is a combo of London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Prague and maybe somewhere in Italy, and Rock Werchter if they tour in the usual Jun/Jul time frame. PJ seemed to make good on the US cities that got cancelled the past few years (Raleigh, Baltimore, Sacramento, Vegas) so I could see them doing the same overseas. - being from Winnipeg, one more 8-12 date Canadian run is my biggest-want, but it might be tricky with the current two-show-per-city format. Toronto, Montreal, and I guess Vancouver can do two shows but what happens in the middle of Canada? Would both Calgary and Edmonton get shows, or one city gets two nights? Would they do single nights with a night off between Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Saskatoon? The last two years they’ve only done six or seven cities and eleven or twelve shows per leg so it’s tough to piece a Canadian-only together with the current format. Maybe Toronto and Montreal just get shows with some US cities (Detroit? Somewhere in Ohio?) next time they’re playing that region.

And the next era is going to consist exclusively of short tours? You’re speaking with a lot of certainty. Why would 20 shows in a year be far too much when they just did 48?
Maybe you know something we don’t, but I don’t see anything concrete to indicate there’s “no way” 20–25 shows get played in a year again.

I'm not in the know, but I have been listening to what they have been saying. Jeff has made his view of touring known and Stone was the one who spoke of short legs.
And I'm ok with that. I'm grateful they are still together, making fantastic records and touring. We have been very lucky. I'll be happy with any US shows. But the days of extensive tours are over.
Shorter tours means the band will keep touring longer. If they do a couple more extensive tours then that might just be it for PJ. I do hope when they hang it up they go out on a high.

I'm personally hoping to go to PJ shows when I'm 80. I'll bring my walker and dementia meds if need be!

I don't think I'll get that luxury. If I'm 80, most of the band has eclipsed 90 :(
