Dropkick Murphys and Bad Religion touring together too 🔥
Bad Religion still brings it. They doubled with Social Distortion last summer and were by far the better band. The canceled the fall tour for health reason which was a bummer because the show was actually in my home town so no traveling.
Yes, we were supposed to go to that show, huge bummer. Unfortunately this time around they’re not going to be as close. Hoping to convince my husband we need a trip to Bend. He LOVES BR so it might not be that hard 😂
Bend, OR - love that place
I actually have never been to Bend, despite living in PNW for 22 years. I think it’s a sign that we should go to the show.
I've never been to the PNW, which is why I'd like Ed to announce Seattle and Portland for October so I can plan my first visit!

For sure! Good food/drink, hiking and pretty close to Crater Lake (closing after this year for 2 years) and some really interesting volcanic sites.
Love Crater Lake and didn’t know about it closing for 2 years, geez, all the signs are pointing to BR, Bend, Crater Lake adventure week!

Surprised by the lack of love for Earthling. A few great songs on there - Invincible, Brother the Cloud, Long Way, Rose of Jericho, Mrs Mills… Would be very happy to get a handful of U.K./Euro dates at some point
I just think Ed Ved solo and PJ leave the bar so damn high its nigh on impossible to hit that every time.

If they announce PJ dates in Europe I'd be absolutely bouncing off the walls. If Ed came with his acoustic guitar I'd be bouncing off the walls. If the Earthlings came I would still be happy but it would be like say Live announcing a few shows over here - I'd definitely want to see them but Im not convinced Id need to do multiple shows if that sense.

But any EV is better than no EV, especially if we genuinely do have a drought ahead.
Totally agree with all this. I’d take PJ or Ed solo over any other artists any day of the week. Earthlings though, I’d go see a show but wouldn’t be anyway near as excited. Would much prefer Ed and Glen do a tour and play the flag day songs.

Have you seen how Earthlings cover some PJ songs? They're great, specially Chad Smith kicking those drums with his groove. I rather see that than EV & GH duo. Saw EV solo in Seattle 2023 and it was OK, had a great seat, but to me Earthlings brings the energy to a higher level so people actually stand up ;)

I don't see the need to compete. The next pearl jam uk shows will be in arenas. They won't try to do a stadium show again.

Definitely. The spurs show still seems so out of character for them. Especially considering they had a Manchester date to.
Those Barcelona shows really saved that tour.

They seem fairly solid at the moment, and definitely picking up traction. Hopefully this years tour goes well and puts the fire in them to keep it going. Heard of a residency of sorts at the Etihad. I'd be up for seeing them if they are on form.

Metallica just doing two shows in London is a shame tbh. They could have done so much more.

Pearl jam have nothing to worry about with these shows imo. Especially if they go back to festivals and arenas. Still a massive artist in the UK when it comes to touring.

Not going to dwell on the DM ticket fiasco - so many factors in play that took their toll.

I know there is truck loads of money at stake but those two have never had a tour that went smoothly. Nine of us, dumb college kids, drove three hours to Charlotte to see them only for them to cancel two hours before doors. Not the show, the whole bloody tour. The only reason this is ago is because of Noel’s divorce and that he was pissed that his brother was playing Oasis songs to packed arenas while the High Flying Birds were struggle to get a couple of thousand Stateside. Good luck to them but I’d give odds that MetLife will be the last time I see them and it won’t be my choice.
