Although I will say that Barenaked Ladies have a Christmas song i have always enjoyed.
That Iron Maiden setlist is fucking horrible.

I saw that tour in Tulsa, OK 1/28/87, sr year of HS ๐. Drove home two hours after to attend school the next day. Had to wear the show shirt, of course! ๐
Vinnie Vincent Invasion opened. That part was probably the loudest, to the point of pain, show I attended.

The first HEAVY metal song I recall ever hearing was "Number of the Beast" at a school bus stop because a kid was playing his cassette. It was either 7th or 8th grade.
A definite transformative moment for me, musically. ๐ค
I mostly listened to top 40 radio at that point. ๐1993: 11/22 Little Rock

Oh and the reason you don't know those 3 is you stopped buying their albums after Somewhere in Time. WTH did you transition listening to in the late 80's that you didn't buy 7th son? Was it all GnR by then and Poison?Post edited by tempo_n_groove on0 -
