I would have TOTALLY enjoyed this one. Murders, Phantom, Clarivoyant, 2 minutes, Seventh Son and Rime.  Whoooo. Dusting off some heat there.

Not one new song for the last 33 years.  All older.

I've see Maiden 5-6 times, and they never ever disappoint. Just a fantastic show.

    That's fantastic!!

Although I will say that Barenaked Ladies have a Christmas song i have always enjoyed.

That Iron Maiden setlist is fucking horrible.
I would have walked out after 5 or 6 songs.

I felt pot committed and stuck it out. I haven't seen them since but probably will if that's what a setlist looks like now.

On a separate note this right here is some radio station festival. Was a week before the Maiden show.

I saw that tour in Tulsa, OK 1/28/87, sr year of HS 😄. Drove home two hours after to attend school the next day. Had to wear the show shirt, of course! 😄

Vinnie Vincent Invasion opened. That part was probably the loudest, to the point of pain, show I attended.

This was the year after I left school and the biggest thing I remember about this show was when we were tripping fucking balls and ride with the ancient Mariners started and the backdrop shifted and the fans were moving it ever so slightly so it gave a pretty real effect of a ship on water.

Have zero memory of the opener

The first HEAVY metal song I recall ever hearing was "Number of the Beast" at a school bus stop because a kid was playing his cassette. It was either 7th or 8th grade.

A definite transformative moment for me, musically. 🤘

I mostly listened to top 40 radio at that point. 😄

Like everyone else says.  Go See Them!!!

Oh and the reason you don't know those 3 is you stopped buying their albums after Somewhere in Time.  WTH did you transition listening to in the late 80's that you didn't buy 7th son?  Was it all GnR by then and Poison?

    lol, that's me.

I didn't listen to the first two albums, listened to Number to Somewhere In Time.

I went back at Final Frontier - Senjutsu.

Went through the remaining discography a year or two ago.

I was first introduced to DiAnno singing at a young age so I was confused to why the third album singer sounded different, lol!  Killers, Iron Maiden, Murders, Phantom and Wrathchild.  All great songs by him. But since he left the band I appreciated Dickinson more plus Beast into Piece of Mind for a young kid was just mesmerizing.

Started college in the fall of 1987, so I was introduced to R.E.M., The Cure, Depeche Mode, U2, Pixies, etc and that pushed metal aside for me. Another transformational moment. 😍

Ah yes the brooding music scene, lol!  They all had good songs but weren't angry enough for me at my young age!  in 87 i was in middleschool.  REM had a cool song Stand around that time. The Cure were in the teen 80's movies, U2 were becoming Gods and Pixies weren't on my radar for another 2 years.

Motley Crue, Minor Threat, Metallica, Misfits, Megadeth, Meatmen and Maiden.  It was all about the M bands and alliteration, lol.

Probably polluted by primus and started entering the short-lived industrial era. Ministry, kmfdm, skinny puppy. Always Slayer. And yes Maiden kind of became a little too 'mainstream' or maybe just needed something different. Odd to reminisce about my personal musical trends.
Never too late to explore the other stuff. So much music, so much time.

Ohh sees thanks to you tempo!

Sadly or not I've gotten out of the live music scene. Such a part of the definition of who I was.
    Enough about me.

    Let's KILL!

Ahhh Ministry, the other M.  Psalm 69 was a great album. Late 89/90 I got a hold of the Limelights Techno compilation.  Well, that spurred my tastes a little!

Oh Sees are touring in the fall!  Make sure you grab your tix now!!!

I've been making up for being dumb and not seeing them all of these years. My cousin was actually at the Live After Death show in Long Beach, and I should have been there. In the past 5 or so years, I've seen them 3 times. Will definitely see this tour if it comes near me.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th

2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2

My cousin has always been a metalhead, whereas I was more of a punk rocker in my early years.
